Had starting issues multiple times, replaced key fob battery 3 times per season. In the end, immobiliser has been replaced under warranty. Will pick up my back later this month and hope this solves this issue.

Best way. I must admit to not giving it a second thought until the moment it wouldn’t start. At least putting the fob onto the wireless marker is a good back up.

I didn't even give it a second thought to be honest. I hadn't started it since the end of October. I've been playing more with the 690.

Had the same thing happen and it really confused me. I really thought there would be a warning or something but no. I came back out of work after a 24 hour shift, wanted to start the bike and it was just dead. No lights, nothing. Tried the wireless thing (but not long enough appearantly) and had to get my girlfriend to come pick me up. Was already dreading water damage bc it was out in the rain overnight or some other horribly expensive thing but not, turns out was just they keyfob. There should really be a warning like with BMWs

That’s not what you need after such a long shift. I agree there should be a warning. Although I did think there was but obviously not.

Mine run the battery dead today for no good reason after less than 10 minutes from last stop????? anyone has any idea? had to jump start/short the battery to get it to turn on

The only thing i can think off is your battery might be on the way out. It can sometimes happen to modern batteries, even new ones. they can just sometimes give up.

YOU CAN PUT REMOTE IN FRONT OF TANK IT WILL WORK WITHOUT BATTERY IT IS EMERGENCY FIXTURE BUILT IN

It’s pretty clear in the video. Nothing more than opening the key blade and sliding the back off.
