Want to see more updates on this KTM 390 Adventure and my other bikes? Head over to my Instagram, where I might reveal my latest ADV motorcycle soon. Yes, I got a new ADV just a month after getting the KTM 390 Adventure. Instagram link: instagram.com/abhinavbhatt19/

thank you for the updates to the bike. even i was gonna order the entire set of 390A parts from advtribe. if you have the radiator guard, please show us that as well. also, what can we do about the windscreen? is there a tutorial to adjust the height? I tried using hex keys from the tool kit, but none of them seem to work in the windscreen. Is there any chance of any manufactures making taller windscreens for this bike, or bajaj ktm gonna import some powerparts? thank you once again
@abhinavbhatt
@abhinavbhatt 4 жыл бұрын
Hi. I do not have the radiator guard but from what I understand, the quality will be impeccable from ADV Tribe. The windscreen is adjusted using an 8 mm allen key. I'll demonstrate in the phone mount install video that I plan to shoot on Sunday/Monday. Maybe I will release it Monday evening or Tuesday evening. Also, I can tell you this that ADV Tribe is working on a bigger windscreen that will be adjustable, Carbon Racing plans to do a screen too and Givi screens for the 790 ADV are a direct fit.

Wow thank you so much 😊 looking forward to the phone mount video now. I finally adjusted the windscreen. Yet to get a chance to ride, but i saw some 5-6mm adjustment with the windscreen. Maybe that will be good enough for city riding for me. But definitely we need a taller screen. I wish advtribe did some small panniers as well. Another thing is, will Ram mounts work with the phone mount from advtribe?

Hey great content as always but one comment could probably be that you are not downshifting correctly when it comes to clutchless. You are supposed to give it more throttle and then downshift, allows you to match revs with the lower gear and get a much smoother gear change without any decelaration due to engine braking
@abhinavbhatt

Feels too stiff even after reducing the preload. And the rebound is very slow. So the spring gets compressed when it goes into a pothole and by the time it comes to its original place, and if the bike has gone into another pothole or over an undulation, it feels like a hardtail.

Why is a lesser tooth sprocket is giving higher fuel efficiency although u have use more rpm / throttle to get the same speed as on the stock one.
@abhinavbhatt

Because you are in the torque band without having to open the throttle as much during city speeds.

Correction mate, you Open Throttle to Down Shift and you Close Throttle to Upshift. That's how you rev-match when shifting without disengaging the clutch, do get the basics right.
