This is the perfect bike for everyone tired of big fat pig adventure bikes. Ride it within its limitations and it can take you all over.

Matt, you were right about the bike _... really waking up ..._ when you got to 600-625 miles. Unfortunately, coming from owning a long line of Harleys, I have a hard time winding the engine over 5k. It just feels wrong. LOL S

@@sdefiel3719 I felt that way too when I started riding it, but the engine is designed to be operated through the entire RPM range not just low RPMs. Smaller engines need to be ran a bit harder to squeeze all they have out of them.

I would suggest it not only suits newer riders, but also old gits like me who have been riding for 50 plus years, but are now finding their 1200cc touring bikes a bit heavy, and a good bike of this size and weight will haul us round as fast as most roads, traffic and speed limits allow these days. Its good to find a light bike with enough room for a 6ft plus rider, with enough power to propel 15plus stones.

Great motorcycle. Sits a little taller than the Duke and is not as fast. But when you go for Adventure riding, it's not about how fast you can go, but rather taking in the views. Yet the TFT display will always let you know, whether an adventure or a duke that you're " Ready to Race" ,lol! Any and all rides on Any KTM is an Adventure....Aloha from Maui 🤙

Love the look of this bike David, I’m thinking about buying something for touring this summer (your winter) and I reckon this might be what I’m after. How much off road abuse do you think it could handle, would there be a limit in your opinion or do you reckon it would handle most terrain pretty well?
@mostlymotorbikes3 жыл бұрын
I think anything other than extreme would be more than in its wheelhouse mate, with a caveat on tyres. IMO that would be the limitation, so you would just need tyres for the situation.

Great vid. I see that this bike has 75-110 miles on the tach. How is it that I saw over 8K RPM's? My bike needed to roll over 600 miles to unlock the engine to 10K. Wind protection was not good with raised windscreen. With after market large screen and attached diverter on top wind was good at highway speeds. S

@mostlymotorbikes3 жыл бұрын
I think as I have always been used to pretty powerful bikes I might go for something with a tad more power. It really all depends though. If the majority of the riding was off road, perhaps this but if the majority was road to get to the off road section I might look at something a bit bigger in terms of Hp. It’s a trade off though as big HP usually means heavier who’s is less optimal off road.

What a fantastic review! The quality is superb! What kind of cameras you use for riding? Anyway, it’s an amazing machine I’ve ridden the duke a few times this must be better. In South Africa 🇿🇦 unfortunately, I don’t think this bike is great value for money I mean it’s over R100k here or about 6000 pounds so in that bracket ther are better all rounders like Honda NC750 and other better used machines. However no denying KTMs are always Ready To Race!
