Given those covers are split and do not sit under fork clamps, could you not of just 'sprung' them on? avoiding disassembly etc.

So I considered this, but after learning that these were real carbon I gave it a test to see how flexible they are. I just don't think they would flex enough to get around that diameter of the fork tube. I was concern that doing so would result in it breaking.

How many miles do you have on you motorcycle right now? I want to buy a 2016 rc390 I found one cheaper than a used ninja 400 but I want to know if I can get 50k miles out of it. Thanks in advance
