Great quality gear but the strap round the frame near your leg rubs through after only a few rides has happened to a few of us running this set up not an easy fix as strap is stitched to bag,,

Rubbing through the strap is pretty rare but if it does happen, all GL saddlebags are designed to be field repairable. At a minimum you can sew a new piece of webbing directly onto the existing strap with a basic sewing kit. There are a few tricks to prevent rubbing in the first place. With KTM/Husky's for example #1 Put the strap under the plastic side guards and around the frame directly, this way your boot cannot directly rub on the strap. With all bikes #2, cut a small piece of bicycle tube(so it essentially turns into a sleeve) then slide that over the strap and put where the highest chance of rubbing on your boot is. The advantage of a sewn on strap outweighs a "bolt-on" strap from a performance and durability standpoint.

Well...we certainly have an opinion on the matter, but we like to let our products speak for themselves.

OK but $289 USD for one little tank bag....you guys are nuts
@GiantLoopMoto10 ай бұрын
we believe it's a fair price for a top quality product. If you compare it to other top brands, we think we are actually offering our tank bags at a competitive price.
