We build a KTM 525cc cross kart in just 4 DAYS with the help of our friends to set a new track record around the CarsandCameras Grand Prix! We're using the VF-1 plans from KJRaycing, a 2010 Polaris Outlaw 525 donor vehicle, a ton of tubing, and a HUGE order from Amazon. Thanks for this build. I have a frame one that is so close to this build . I've had it maybe, 10 years it had a 90s 350 Honda hung on the back. It was so over built. Each end of the suspension had 4 adjusters for alignment. A chain driven differential. Open. Was thinking about having you making me and offer on at least 12 projects I'll never get to 2 Alport RTS 340s 2 Honda SXs and oddesy not sure of the model. A frame of a ranger 8 it would make a great retriever.

That thing is badass! My only suggestion would be put some foam tape (canopy tape) on the edges of those panels. Sounds like it would rattle your fillings out. Can't wait to see it at Busco!

This is one sweet collab! It's kewl to see master craftsmen at work. That engine looks TINY for it's displacement! Just make sure you don't misplace any of your "ugga-dugga" (torque) during assembly. I wonder if anybody ever slapped a snail (turbo) on one of those motors...hmm...

Pretty incredible how something can be built so quickly, when you have the manpower of course, and as for a soviet crosskart, absolutely, one caveat though, it needs to be Lada powered, for that eastern bloc touch... :P
