KTM 690 ENDURO - SIMPSON DESERT ADVENTURE - Part 4

Shadower 75

4 жыл бұрын

The adventure crosses the desert. Part 4 is another long one.
Like episode 3, I try to give you the viewer an inside look at what it's like for 5 mates to cross the desert. The drama, the fun, the highs and the lows. Mark certainly knows about the lows.
Anyway, I really hope you enjoy this one, thanks for giving me your time to watch it. If you like, 'Like it', 'Subscribe' or leave a 'Comment'.
Ride safe, be safe and see you on the trails.
Thanks heaps, Craig

He who takes an 1190 into the Simpson is either a madman or a genius, or perhaps both. Well done both of you, great vid. Though if you ever show footage of an insta model riding with no shirt I will never tune in again…unless they are hot or you do a better job of taking the piss.

Stunning ride guys, and excellent commentary. Easily the best adventure ride series (both of you) I have seen on the Tube this year. Pity Mark had Husky problems ... looked to me like he might just have had the most weight on the rear too. Thanks for sharing! Wonder if my AT would do the Simpson ...

Thanks Ian for the comments mate. I really do appreciate it. Makes all the hard work of filming and editing worth it. Have to agree with you on that one re the husky's weight, maybe just carrying a little too much. I think with the right preparation and determination you could get a AT across there. Nerb did it on a 1190. Cheer again mate and have a good day now.

Thanks for finally giving some solid info on riding the Simpson. What speed your doing, what gear your in, this stuff is missed from most other vlogs and gives great insight. You’ve thoroughly covered the run so far. Fantastic

Its good to see the perspective from the 3 different guys. Shadower, good narration on how to cross the dunes. Going to cross the Simpson myself and Ive been watching these videos for tips and research ;) Broken frames.........yikes. Time for some brazing or welding to get that sorted.

I´ve got to say, I´m gratefull that you were able to share this trip through these videos. I feel like I watch this whole series every year, it´s the 4th time, and this is my favourite part. It´s strange to feel connected to someone attempting Big Red and I wish to be able to meet it some day, even though I live in the complete opposite side of the planet. Thank you for the wonderfull display of respect to others, nature and life. Many have commented on this, one way or another, so it´s no coincidence, we all feel your positivity and great perspective. Thanks to Tom and Nerb as well, it was through their videos that I started watching your channel. Cherrs!!

I live in the south of Brazil, in a city called Florianópolis. Well look, it's far fetched but not impossible, I have been doing small motorcycle trips around my area and I have plans to do a long trip around South America one day. It would be awesome to ride with you around here!! Actually, if you ever plan a trip through South America, I'd more than happy to help with logistics at the very least.

Magnificently Epic! I feel for Mark with the breakdown. But, my heart soared when you guys took Big Red. Tom blazed his own trail at the end, I was kinda expecting him to wheelie over the peak. lol (Then I told myself its sand, man. hahaha) I gotta say you are the ultimate rider and team player Craig and I thoroughly enjoy your videos and commentary.

Bit of a bummer for mark to not make it across with you guys. You all made getting up big red look easy. Pretty awesome to see all the greenery and water in eyre creek, last year i rode up the creek thinking why is there a creek in the desert! haha I like the time lapse at 51:56 , it even shows the sand moving, very cool. Congrats on another crossing sir and cheers 4 sharing it with us.

Amazing vid mate great camera angle and commentary Love the pace you must have your suspension dialled up very well. 4th gear I would have been airborne and out of control on the 1150 and the DR at that speed. Your bike looks like it is barely working 👍
