It's actualy sounds pretty good. It's not disturbing what is important for me, but it has much lower tone. I am very happy with this mod. More over, you cant see it on MOT 🤣👍

it is still mounted :) The sound with this mod + cat is just perfect for me :)

@@casar.704 Yesterday, I did it too. I tested it only for a while, but it will probably suit me as well. I still need to mount the dirty tricks chain tensioner, and hopefully I'll be 100% satisfied :) Off-topic. Have you addressed the camshafts yet?

Not really, the sound is just perfect now. I got better deeper sound but not too noisy, you can still ride in forest without doing too much mess :-D the hole diameter is not so big so its not noisy as aftermarket muffler without db killer. I would say, it's like akrap with db killer. Nice, a bit louder but not too much. definietally worth the change. Also, no policeman can blame you for aftermarket pipe :-D as it looks exactly as stock. you wont notice difference.

I'm curious How many mm of rivets do you use to reassemble?

Hi, yes they are. It survived pretty big hits so I am keeping them until I brake them. I will change it with barkbusters then.

I’m using them still also, they are actually not that bad, had a few fall’s to, with low speed although. The funny thing is that if you look to people how ride Dakar and other rally raids with KTM factory replica’s and they sometimes still use the plastic one’s.

I have yet to find a muffler replacement or modification video that actually does the wise thing. A before and after dyno test. I don't necessarily mind a louder exhaust, but I'm certainly not doing it at the expense of performance. If you're not going to do a dyno comparison, at least pay close attention to top end performance before you make a change. I bet you lose a significant amount of max speed and top end acceleration.

I tried several options, also withou cat etc. and I can clearly state you dont loose anything by this as all the backpressure is done by catalys... yes I could feel huge difference when I removed catalyst, also didnt liked the tone, so I've thrown it back and gone this way... In my opinion, this mod is absolutely ok in terms of power and sound :-)

@@casar.704 Thanks, good to know. I don't necessarily discount seat of the pants performance enhancements, but it is far more accurate with a dyno. Have you considered a power commander upgrade from Rottweiler?

@@howlinhog As I said, I dont feel any difference so no. If there would be lack of power I would consider this. But I believe this small change can be managed by oem ecu.

​@@alejandrog553 at the end I tried both, and actually I found out the straight really loses some power, but not much. Arrow (with bulge) was with no difference in terms of power, but both were too noisy to my liking, so I have putted the cat back :)

Yes its all funny but on long term its annoying for the residents and also for yourself on long trips - and maybe the Police.

This mod it´s absolutely ok. It´s not as noisy as any different slipon withou db killer. I also tried decat pipe on the same bike, and thats somthing that you can really call noisy. This mod brings you much deeper tone with just a little bit more noise, but it´s not disturbing... you can also cut the db killer a bit less than I did, and try to increase the sound level step by step to make sure it´s not too much... Police cannot recognize it until they open the pipe. As I said, it´s not much louder, but the tone is 100% deeper and better. :)
