Oh, it definitely helped! I like to think my son (his bike) and I would've figured it out anyhow, but it was great to have some validation on how we thought it went together. We did have one problem despite your video. We had a hell of a time finding the hole for the spring peg. For anyone experiencing that problem, I offer this solution: Look at the two big bolts securing the right footpeg. Imagine an invisible line going BETWEEN them and hitting the exhaust pipe. The hole is in that lug of steel immediately before the exhaust pipe. And... the stud can actually be screwed in after you've already rebolted and tightened the footpeg bracket. There's just enough room between the screw hole and the exhaust pipe. The wrench size for the stud is 13mm.

THANK YOU! I tried the links to KTM and Husqvarna manuals as stated in several forums but no luck. Your video is the best for OEM install. I was stumped on the spring pin location until this video. Sad that the part comes with no instructions and it takes an owner to show others how to install.

Bought my stand too and I didn’t find the instructions either. Emailed KTM office in California and they emailed me the instructions. They were also surprised it didn’t come up with the part # on the KTM site. Months later I think I’ll finally get to this project. Thanks for recording.

Hello Doug..I have been waiting a long time for the KTM OEM unit to come to the U.S.A. market. Did you buy yours from a KTM dealer or how , where and for how much..$..?

Yeah bought from my dealer right around $250 or 260. Way lighter than i thought it would be too
