270° crank in MT-07 (same firing interval as a 90° Vtwin), 285° crank in the 790, same firing interval as their own 75° Vtwin from the 1290 and 1090.

@@mtrideron167 The one with open headers. Otherwise, it's going to be down to a combination of other things such as compression ratio, exhaust port size, cam timing, exhaust header design, and finally firing interval of a given displacement for a given number of cylinders.

thanks man :) Using a Zoom H2n audio recorder (in my backpack so no wind noise) I actually added back a little bit of wind noise from the GoPro because it didnt sound natural haha :)

I used Sennheiser HD800s headphones to EQ the recording and when the volume is cranked it sounds so realistic! Highly recommend listening on good headphones!

I recently bought this exhaust through Aliexpress. Very cheap (86 euros including shipping). Nice looking with the orange "topping", good quality. Easy to install, fits perfectly without any gas leakage. The sound is terrific! Of course, it is illegal wrt to FR-EU regulations, but I don't give a shit..

I sold this exhaust a while ago. I saw this comment and had to see for myself. Just got it and OMG it is so close to the proper austin racing for less than a 10th of the price! Sounds exactly the same and it actually fits better! £75 shipped for me and the original was over £800 shipped!

the ktm duke 390 /790 and 890 are fun bikes to ride (imo) i was going to get the 790 but ended i sold my 390 and got a 08 cbr1000rr for half the price of a 890r duke but one day ill get another duke I'm really digging the 1290r tho it will have to be my next bike for sure!

That was great, bike sounds fantastic. If only I could experience that, but in reality,,,, my riding jacket makes me sweat, I can’t hear the exhaust for the wind, if I turn my head slightly my helmet whistles, a bug will splat just where I need to look and the fucking traffic is always in the way, not to mention speed cameras everywhere 😤 But hey I love my Duke and maybe one day I will find all elements in harmony 😄

8:55 - some generously applied Loctite should fix this for you m8 ;-) Just did that on my Duke after taking the mirror arms out altogether - and they now hold like a champ :D
