If you can get past the ugly headlight on that thing, only Suzuki can trump that with the VStroms, for KTM , the 690 is the better bike, no problems there.

I should have put less farkles on my ktm 790 and stocked up on parts instead. Oh well, the motor just blew at 30K miles so I can part it out and shop for something more reliable, like a Ducati haha.

100,000 bikes in inventory right now, probably some incoming deals as they liquidate and reorganize. Citigroup has stepped in and have China and India bidding against each other for pieces of the company. Hopefully they can figure something out. Get new management and get back to business. In the meantime you may grab some nice deals.

Thanks for the feedback. We felt like Michael was the man to present this 890 build to you guys even though he's not one of our usual on camera personalities; he is an ace test-rider and mechanic and has a ton of real world experience with these bikes.

@dwb468, you don't need to do anything. most motorcycle owners accessorize their bikes. some spend a little and some spend more than twice the cost of the motorcycle. for most motorcycle owners, personalizing the riding experience is part of the enjoyment of riding motorcycles. my 890 rally devours grom riders in the dirt. yum...
