My question is about the crash bars. I see the two screws are on the motor. Isn’t it dangerous for it? Maybe a crash will crack the motor?

Hey @panosroumpos, thanks a lot for your comment. We understand your concerns but we can assure you, we have tested it several times. The crash bars are designed to not give the pressure of a crash to the engine.

Hey, unfortunately we didn’t test our products with other manufacturers. We tested our products on the bike and how it was released and of course if our products are compatible with each other.

I was trying to look on the website and fount the instructions of the crashbars, but its strange the mounting points in the front are not the same as the 1 show in this movie@@SW-MOTECH

Hey @Knockelhead, yes your right! The crash bar shown in the video and the one in our Web-Shop are not identical. Thats because, we have a new crash bar since December and the crash bar shown in the video is our old crash bar for the KTM 890 Adventure.

The SW Motech site does not offer the lower crash bar for the 2023 Adventure R. I contacted SW Motech and they replied that the lower crash bar is not available for the 2023. Odd that it is presented in this video on a 2023 Adventure R? Does the 2020-2022 lower crash bar fit the 2023?

not impressed by anything I seen here. The mirror thing doesn't stand up to the Doubletake mirrors, the racks look too expensive, I have the Tusk racks with way more space from the Olympus bags, the crash bars are disappointing as well as the real need is for the upper radiator not really the lower part as the skid plates usually are enough. Maybe some utility in center stand but I haven't needed it yet, and lastly the rear break pad, I just flipped the stock one upside down and its sufficient. I expect more from German engineering, especially the foot peg, Jesus that's basically the same as stock from the looks of it. I'll throw you a bone, design a big titanium foot peg wide and long that still swivels back fully but in flat position rotates slightly enabling a person in the standing position to drop heels backwards without loosing surface contact and rotate forward enabling shifting while standing. No rubber Inserts, make it with aggressive teeth so the boot never slips off when caked in mud. This increases performance utilizing quick shift on trails without the need to sit every time a shift is required or doing some weird wiggle of the foot and knee to shift up while standing.
