About 2 years ago, I spent a day in the dirt with a close friend and polished off the 2 hour trip home on your youtube channel. I bought a used 2014 300 a week later and necessitated my passion for riding and motorcycling. A year after that I bought a flogged out '04 450exc and like Frankenstein's monster I brought it back to life. Completed a 460 mile adventure through the hills and mountains of my home state of Kentucky. I've since sold that bike and I am going to purchase a 1090adv r because of your videos!!!! Great work Adam, keep it up!

Great adventure, great video quality and exhalant edition! Man, being in this business, not so big as you, but making similar staff, I really understand what all of that cost you to make this film. Not the money, I mean the time, the passion and efforts you invest in. Australia attracted me more and more. It is so far away from Europe, but I have to visit it, no exception. I will wait for your next adventure video. Best regards from Berlin, Germany!

Looks like an epic rally / adventure ride for all. So impressive how the big rigs handle the tough stuff but I'd bet the gents on the 640 were glad they were in the muddy, rocky, slick sections. Top notch quality of editing and commentary, Adam.

Nice film! I do think it would have been more fun on smaller bikes. If I don't have to carry my surfboard and a bunch of other crap my ADV bike (the mule) stays home and I fire up "the dirt bike" with plates EXC (the mountain goat). It's always smiles, but bigger smiles on the smaller bike.

I’m wondering why these bikes are so big? 650cc? And more? What’s the point? It seems to me that they are just heavy and hard to manoeuvre and use more fuel, all things you value on an adventure. I saw one video where the guy ditched it and it took everything he had in him to lift the bike and get out. What is the point having 50+ horsepower power when your trying to navigate rough terrain. I’ve never done this type of riding, but have rode bikes off road all my life. I can see a 250-450cc bike being good but can’t see why anymore would be advantageous especially with the new bike that having efi and all that. Please enlighten me someone, thanks!

Watching the muddy hill climb section at the 24 min mark and my 9 yr old boy walks over and asks "what are they doing?" I reply, "riding in the KTM rally." He replies, "why are they riding such big bikes?" I answer, "because they are adventure riding." He snorts and says, "they should ride dirt bikes...kick em in the balls."...and walks off!

If the engine of the 640 wasnt so.. "unpleasant" to leave with, lets say a small 600cc twin, it would be the greatest of them all.

Love the video and appreciate the effort that it takes to make one. I really don't understand why average riders (not guys like Adam), take a liking to overweight bikes for this kind of riding. It only makes the probability of injury greater. I can however understand how the top-notch riders like Adam find it an interesting challenge.

Yamaha Rider yeah it open possibility of injury riding overweight motor cycle for rough terrain. But big motor cycle makes you look more macho... Hehehe. Let's see if any big biker rider will have the answer. It is an important issue, in my opinion. It is related to safety
