Hey anyone that was there....Was there as many flat tires as the video rather seems to indicate? If so that surprises me for some reason .... I would think most would run the typically more easy to plug tubeless tires? No? The other thing it looked like it was predominately straight level roads? From the video I dunno 80%?? Reminds me of the plains of the US....Is that part of it fun just droning on and on through all that dust? Lastly did anyone get bit by something poisonous? Trying to decide if I might want to sign up for such a thing

Mary's watering hole, might be in connection with Mary Wade, one of the founding mothers of modern day Australia, Millions of Australians are ancestors of Mary Wade. In London 1789, Mary Wade at the age of ~12 years was convicted of theft of some clothing and sentenced to death by hanging. @@wurthit1239 Compared to my 1290 its a Dream. Suspension isn't great on serious offroad. Stock tires are poor on rocks. Brakes are great. Stable on the highway at 85. A 15 tooth countershaft sprocket helps. Learning the modes is important before you ride. Rally mode is Cool! Skid plate isn't worthy. Pipe is heavy and you cant hear the bike while riding. Plastic hand guards break on 1st good fall. I've made many mods and absolutely LOVE this bike. 1290 is for sale!

Snakes , spiders......you forgot "Drop Bears" Oh how I wish KTM made genuine factory power parts lowering kit, I was in the market for a new 1090, but I am too short, the sales person had no idea on what was required to lower the bike....sad really, when other brands offer a factory lowering kit.

I can see it now, The 2021 KTMS will have radar imaging or something to see through the thick dust Each vehicle shows up as a blip on your screen....throttle auto chops and brakes auto engaged anytime collision is imminent....A computer voice warning "Pull up ...pull up....pull up" Oh wait that is aircraft ...."Warning impact with participant in 3 seconds ....chop throttle ....warning apply brakes....Warning too late clinch butthole impact occuring...NOW...
