Epic video! Makes me humble and glad for owning a 690 RFR and 1290 SAR. Here in Norway that kind of KTM rally would be impossible to make, but puts things in perspective. Excellent commentary on safety issues and riding style!

Mr KTM, just a word of warning as a long term 690 rider. If it built before 2015, swap the rocker arms for those marked 2015 onwards to avoid them disintegrating and destroying your engine. Happened on a brand new 2014 to me. Second whatever you do carry a spare fuel pump and a spare injector.

Wow, from a Kiwi to you Aussies Im impressed and for a Kiwi thats not easy, epic stuff. I think when Cptn Kirk said: Space the final frontier! he clearly hadn't ridden a KTM adventure bike in the Aussie outback! This will be my mission for the next five years to do this trip if it happens again, amazing work KTM and all involved the outback stn etc.

Chris doing wheelie at the end.... crossing the river..... last time I crossed over concrete walkway that's wet, it bit it hard and got soaked. Wet walkway are slippery as ice, new found respect for wet greenish concrete walkways.
