KTM Duke 690 wheelie practice

Hell yeah! I got my 690 this year and I finished adding crash protection because I know I'm gonna need it. Can't wait to pop some wheelies but I need to find a secluded spot first.

Love the video. Picking up my brand NEW 2015 KTM DUKE 690 first of 2019. I found a brand new one the dealer was wanting to unload. I gave a down payment and they agreed to hold till first of the year when I will pay in full. The weather is crappy and I won’t have to claim it on my personal property taxes if I wait till first of the year. I’m looking forward to throwing my leg over this and riding.

Awesome@TheGreatLaker did you have any issues at low rpms with the bike shaking violenty lol. Any other mods besides the exhaust you did ?

I have the same bike. You need to lean more and shift into third with no clutch in the air. I got it down to where i can ride it out in 2nd, shift into 3rd ride out 3rd and sometimes even keep it up in 4th. Try pulling it up with higher rpms in 2nd also. Good luck man and nice bike

get her up more so you're not chasing it to redline. so far so good man. maybe when my elbow and rib heal, we can go cruise. well I have to get another bike too, but I'll have one before my elbow heals up.

Do you get gas coming out around your cap and into your lap on the wheelies? I do with my 2013 690.

Do you have a power commander or any tuning done to run the full Werkes exhaust or stock?

Exhaust is a full system from Competition Werkes, Bike is stock besides the exhaust, booster plug, K&N Filter, and heated grips.
