KTM Fuel line tips

Do any fuel line fixes correctly on your KTM/Husqvarna. If you use a larger tank than stock sometimes you will need to adjust your fuel line length.

I removed everyone of those type clamps and replaced it with quarter inch hose clamps.

My quick conector is leaking a lot. And when i connect them it goes inside very easy. The oring must be changed?

They are called oetiker clamps.

With that special tool do you crimp in the middle with the little opening or where the tool squeezes flat on the side of the pliers. Wondering what the middle is used for if so thanks!

I have done the same swapped from a original tank to an larger tank on a 2016 350 sx f and now my bike bogs out / cust out when I rev it full throttle. Any ideas?

I doubt it was from the tank swap- maybe just a coincidence -- Unless maybe the its not venting air. Have you changed out the little fuel filter inline? Try that also--

I have a 2016 350sxf and I want to swap the big tank back to the stock tank. Dean did you have to switch the fuel hose or do anything to the hoses? Did you just switch the stock hoses onto the new tank? Did you have to switch plastics to fit the big tank?

Hey dirtbiketv I have a problem and need some help from a pro! my 2014 Crf250 will not start after changing air filter and washing bike. The events followed in order: I came home from track, washed bike, started bike up after wash and let sit in garage for a week or so. I went to pull the air filter and cleaned and oiled it and placed back in bike. The next day I saw a pool of maxima air filter oil under the bike and realized I didnt do a good job of wringing out the oil. When I went to kick the bike over, it wouldnt start at all. I had a liquid level (1") of air filter oil in airbox which i drained though the bottom plug. I removed the air filter and the bike still wouldnt start. I pulled the spark plug and found it wet, cant tell if air filter oil was on it, but it was definitely wet. The spark plug has spark. I changed spark plug while I was there, no change. Bike also will not push start either. All electrical connections are pushed in and making contact from what I see, but I didnt pulled out a multimeter or anything yet. Im thinking maybe an issue with electrical system, or air filter oil got its way into chamber and is interrupting something. Tank is off bike and would like to test the fuel flow and fuel pressure just need some insight on how to do so.

Yes it sounds like your on the right track- if you have spark the next thing to inspect is fuel. I would see if you an find a 2010-17 CRF250 or 2009-16 CRF450R fuel tank to sit on your bike to easily see if that solves the issue. Then you know its a fuel pump issue.
