What is the T-connector that has the fuel pressure gauge called? you need that don't you to get the pressure?
@PhillipsVision Жыл бұрын
That is a connector that comes with a fuel pressure gauge kit. It is needed if you are directing 2 lines to the gauge

wil a bad regulator cause a rich condition? or anything related to the fuel system. I suspect a rich condition because my exhaust smells of fuel and the spark plugs are black at the top (carbon looks like)
@PhillipsVision Жыл бұрын
Are you getting any engine codes? Carbon fouling is normally due to oil getting on the plugs. Could be the valve stem seals or valve cover gaskets

@@PhillipsVision I can’t scan it because it’s an older car. It’s a 1994 Honda accord. I see what appears to be some oil mess on the oxygen sensor. But I’m not going to jump to conclusions. But could oil cause an o2 sensor to go kapoot?
@PhillipsVision Жыл бұрын
@@EdgarMendezz yes. Oil can cause your O2 sensors and Catalytic converter to fail.

Hi my truck don’t start I bought the ipr from eBay but it’s not working can you give me a recommendation of what could be wrong

Have you checked the fuel pressure?
@anjaylam8 ай бұрын
How do you check the pressure without a pressure gauge?
@syfodias-jedimaster Жыл бұрын
if fuel pressure would be low? Whats the usual fix?
@PhillipsVision Жыл бұрын
Could be a failing fuel pump, or pressure regulator
@markonaw3958 Жыл бұрын
Does the car run while the regulator is disconnected?
@PhillipsVision Жыл бұрын
No, because fuel will spray from the open line. Shut the vehicle off before disconnecting the gauge.

can a bad fuel pump cause miss fire ?
@PhillipsVision10 ай бұрын
Yes. Any issues with the fuel coming in and spark can cause that. If the fuel pressure is less that recommended for your vehicle it can cause a misfire
