KTM Hard Enduro Model: To Buy or Not to Buy?

"TIME" I've seen so many vids just like this now and not one of them takes into account the time! I paid just under $13k for my '24 HARDENDURO. My previous bike was a '23 300 XC-W (standard edition). That previous bike I spent hours searching and shopping on the web plus some driving around town picking up and looking for the parts I thought would be best. Then, I spent hours pulling the bike apart and installing all those acquired parts, most of them were for increased durability and protection. Sure, I thought someday if I damage a wheel etc. I'll splurge for some new rims and maybe some sick hubs. More money, more time...What's your time worth!?!?! I had just got back into ridding in 2022 after two long decades of very little, sadly. Now, my time is worth a lot. If you love to work on your bike, swapping or adding parts for what ever reason, good on you and do what ever makes you most happy. My HARDENDURO came looking like the bike I'd build right out of the box (Wrap around hand guards are the only bit I may change after I destroy these stockers). I didn't have to spend a minute on the bike and that's more time for me to ride, spend with people I love/enjoy, or making more money. The stock suspension on this new bike is amazing and the TBI power delivery is super sweet. I love how it feels but it doesn't make me any better a ridder, only time spent on the bike will do that. Keeping it real, Tiger Woods, using my grandfathers clubs, would kick my ass all over the golf course and Mani Lettenbichler would pass us all on a moped. Buy the best you can afford, be proud of it and go use it. Never judge another's decision of choice when it comes to the same. They most likely have their reasons or limitations. ✌

I haven't had a dirt bike for like 50 years, but now i want one. when i move to AZ, I WILL get one. KTM enduro seems like a good choice.

Save your money. Get dirt tricks sprocket instead. Most guys change their sprocket to 48 plus for hard Enduro. The Richard Burdett edition... Fan Sprocket change Axp skid plate with linkage guard Bladder kit for rear suspension Rad guards Beduro handguards Springs to my weight Fmf knarly pipe Coming soon tsp high comp head and reflash. Maybe change the front brake out to brembo (have a new one from my snow bike, actually like the brake tech clutch and rear better)

It's true that is not possible to move the clutch or break levers inside/outside because they are attached to the handleguards ?

Abit misinformed here, the KTM orange milled triple clamps improve suspension handling exactly the same as xtrigs that’s why they are 15nm on top bolts and 12nm on bottom bolts, the stock silver forged clamps are 20nm on top and 15nm on the bottom, KTM explain this in the 6Days&HE models description but people don’t read that they just look at the pictures 🤦🏼‍♂️🤠

Buy a Beta 300 Factory edition and save way more money and have a gorgeous awesome bike and have a carb and option to put a kickstart on it. Use the extra money saved on guards and maybe springs for your weight. You come out way more ahead and to me the best bike available.
