I put my cc forks from my 2012 570 berg on my 2020 tpi. Thing handles amazingly compared to the standard tpi forks from that year.

Been hoping for a new piston for a long time, this new fork will awesome! Still think the base piston could be better but still will be a great fork!

Great video. Would the '24 CC assemblies drop right into '23 AER forks? Might be a cheaper option than purchasing 6500 cartridges. If so it would be tempting to build a hybrid air/coil spring system like Coppersmith, you would only need to purchase one CC cartridge and could use the base valve assembly from the '23 fork since you said they are the same. Thanks

Is it worth changing the new oem cc forks for the 6500 ? I will need to lower my suspension and change springs for my weight anyway?
@ZonaEnduro Жыл бұрын
For sure! 6500 are better. And it comes with a good setup from the box.

@@ZonaEnduro does this information, that the 6500s' are better in performance than the new stock CCs' that come in the 24MY bikes come from the TBR Suspension specialists or is it just your opinion? I would like to know what do they think about this question. Thanks!

will a 6500 kit from a tpi gen bike fit into the new 2024 forks?

So, just talked with the guys at TBR Suspension. And unfortunately the answer is NO... "Hey guys unfortunately not. However there are new WP 7500 cone valve cartridges or you can change axel clamps for the 6500 to fit"

What are the pros and cons of one over the other and which one would you say is better overall? Wondering if it’s worth buying the 24 model for the CC forks or buy the 23 model and convert the AER to the 6500 kit with the saved money? Thanks for the video 👍🏼

The 24 bikes are other generation, new frame and engine. Not just the suspension.

@@ZonaEnduroSorry I should have specified that I am referring to the XC models not the EXC. The 23 KTM 250/300 XC is the new generation bike but with the AER fork. The 24 KTM 250/300 XC is the same new generation bike but got the new closed cartridge fork. For that particular model the only difference between 23 and 24 model is the new fork hence my question. Thanks

@WildNZ I had an AirFork back in days. It is a decent fork, but what I didn’t like about it, is the fluctuation on cold and hotter days. But for sure a good tuned fork will be ok. Used the bike for HardEnduro. Was ok in terms of suspension, what I didn’t like was the gearing.

@@ZonaEnduroWhat are the pros and cons of the 6500 kit vs the new closed cartridge production fork? Would you pick one over the other?

which is the best??

Both if you tune them correctly. WP 6500 is more consistent in results, and more durable, has the preload adjuster from outside… they are not quite the same.

3:30 How you get good value for your money when the KTMs - Huskys are the most expensive enduro bikes with the worst front forks compared to the other brands?
@ZonaEnduro Жыл бұрын
You will have on a Beta or a Sherco, yes KYB CC in the Racing Version. But trust me, to get closer to Hard Enduro you have work to do at a suspension shop. Yes, now you have a CC fork, that can be tuned for sure for less money.

I think its a comparison to the older gen Ktm's like 2017-23. I have a 2021 and I've mostly hated the forks lol
