Mexican Independence Day's impact on Las Vegas Valley

It is Hispanic Heritage Month and we are kicking off live from the Mexican Independence Day block party in downtown Las Vegas. Here is the impact festivities have on the city.

This year's is slower, why? No boxing involving either a Mexican fighter or in the case of Tyson Fury a few years ago, wearing a sombrero and a sarape in his ringwalk due to Canelo not able to find a fighter that year on Mexican Independence Day weekend. Canelo fights on Sept 30 so a bit too late.

@josephrodriguez5510 It is all about respect there are millions of people living here from other countries including Mexico that would not celebrate their countries independence here out of respect. I mean it would be like the Americans living or visiting in Mexico and celebrating the 4th of July and closing down the streets in their cities and disrespecting Mexico's country and independence day. Some people have respect and some don't and when you give it you get it return.

@@rickfarinelli254 YES THEY DO, I live in tijuana and work in rosarito, you dont imagine the painfull trafic every 4 of july, and the streets full of drunk americans, white, black and Brown...you do it all the time, but you dont like it when others do it to you.
