Hello, ഇതിൽ കുറച്ച് mis-leading information ഉണ്ട്. Travel കമ്പനികളുടെ കമ്മീഷൻ എന്ന് പറയുമ്പോൾ അത് വെറുതെ അവരുടെ പോക്കറ്റിൽ പോകുന്നതല്ല, അവർക്ക് ഒരു പാട് ചിലവുകൾ ഉണ്ട്, IT platform maintain ചെയ്യുക, operation, reservation, marketing etc. At the end, the commission will go for all these expenses and the hotels only benefit from this. He is not right about Hotels loosing their rate, they are very demanadable when travel companies negotiate the rate. Also, when someone buy his platform, who will manage the reservation and customer service? Still the investor needs to have employees to manage the customer service. The platform cost will be incurred from the commission received from the hotels. And so on.. ട്രാവൽ കമ്പനികളുടെ നടത്തിപ്പിൽ ഉള്ള യഥാർത്ഥ കാര്യങ്ങൽ പലതും വിഴുങ്ങുന്നു ഇതിൽ..

I had implemented similar service in ten years back and connected more than 200 Kerala hotels in two to three months. Then I bought a software of a travel technology company and paid for their subscription. Within 3 months, they vanished from the field. Frankly, small travel agencies wont believe these types of technology businesses easily because these companies wont survive longer from my experience I am saying International companies are taking around thirty percent or more as their commission and we can avoid this and save hoteliers if technology companies implement a direct booking module but by stop selling their inventory to all international companies.. But no hotelier will have the courage to do so because they loose business immediately from foreign customers. Now in this market .. no government control... booking companies can take any commission and sell at what price they want even without informing the hotel owner. Hotels have no role in fixing their prices based on their quality of hotel rooms. Hotel owners/travel agencies get a good reward for their business If tourism authorities and hotel associations can take a strong action against the hotel booking sites. Most of these commissions are going outside India and frankly what a hotel get max 10% of their net room rate. 25-30% of that huge amount is our money. Who will take this matter seriously?

Sir ...... These commission things are there in Tourism industry since Donkey Years😂😂😂.... Most of the commission agents do have a substantial amount of deposit given to the Hotel management, and then.... They ( commission agents) do purchase rooms from these Hotels and they sell it out to their clients according to their desired rates. The PURCHASED ROOMS rates are decided by the commission agents and it is comprehensively under their discretion. Once the rooms are sold to the commission agents ,,, then the hotel management can do nothing about rates. Unless and until you put a clause particularity about the selling rates.
