I know Fauna had some misgivings about combining a looping background sound with her KU100, but I have to say, that little bit of rain patter in the background really tied everything together and smoothed out any bumps. Especially moments where Fauna had to mute - those were dramatically less abrupt.

100% agree on the rain. I often would listen to my own rain sounds with Fauna's ASMR since I just like the sound of rain, so having it included made my life a bit easier.

It's been a while since the last live ASMR but it was worth the wait. The rain didn't detract from it at all, and you could use other sfx like a fireplaces or nighttime ambience to set the mood Hope I'm free from my wired restraints next time, heartbeats are too good

I know you mentioned before thinking it could be seen as 'a waste' to use background ambient noise like rain when using the KU100, but I think it worked really well! I'm so happy to have live ASMR back! Honestly, the amount of scuff was SO LOW I wouldn't even comment on it if I didn't think you were worried. I would say this is in the top 10% of ASMR as far as sound quality, even with some very slight noises in the background. But it doesn't interrupt the mood at all and it was really fun and relaxing. Went to hit the hay with some nice relaxing tskr Fauna ASMR and about 5 minutes in she says not to have the volume too loud. Max volume for my headphones is just about right for bedtime ASMR. And then an ad hit me yelling “I CAN TURN CAT INTO PILLOW!” Lesson learned.

Louder background noise doesn't bother me when going to sleep if it's constant so the rain saves me from having to adjust the volume somewhat. I find it seriously amazing how Fauna ASMR is simultaneously perfect but also improving every stream
