That’s the original train station in KL and it’s about less than a km away to the central market which you can just grab the LRT to KLCC

I visit Malaysia 3-4 times a year with my two kids, wife. I think you would really enjoy legoland in Johor malaysia. But it’s on the Singapore border so you can visit it from Singapore or Johor. If you opt to stay in Johor (I would) there’s several pockets of airbnbs. By far the nicest area is puteri harbor. The airbnbs there are so nice and still so cheap and it’s only a 3 minute grab ride to legoland

Our trains are similar to Laos. They are semi hsr. Currently only indonesia has a 150km track for hsr train. I heard the disadvantage with hsr is nausea or headache. This is from comment from Europeans

Why not just get a Grab in a few minutes and take that to the Penang ferry dock? I don't understand driving all the way south to the bridge and then back north to Butterworth. Also, the train is supposed to have wifi.
@AlwaysBeChanging Жыл бұрын
The traffic was so heavy on the way to the ferry too, we would have missed the boat. They only leave at certain times and we didn’t have time to wait for the next one. We had to wait over an hour for the grab to arrive.

Yes, you guys supposed to get down at KL Sentral, more options for transportation to your hotel, instead you guys stopped at the old railway station, KTM shouldn't let the station neglected, it gave a bad image to KL and Malaysia, the station is operational but it also looked a bit abandoned.

@@AlwaysBeChanging By the way, just a little addition, the old colonial railway station built by the British was still in a better condition about a decade ago, I always take KTM train from KL Sentral to the old station for my Friday prayer at the national mosque which is just opposite the station. The station used to have a hotel and its restaurant, KFC and another fast food restaurant. The lobby used to display artwork and paintings by local artists. Quite disappointed to see it's left in a poor condition. The old railway station is a heritage for KL and it should be treated in such a better way. 😀

Well, not quite sure how to respond on this one, my friend... we tend to be very considerate of other people and we really try to avoid filming when it's gonna disturb others. That often means that we just "read the room" to ensure that we're not going to be more disruptive that the general vibe. That's why we often whisper in certain episodes or just decide not to film at all. In this train ride, I think we did a good job of staying at the same level as other passengers in terms of conversation and noise. But we hear you (no pun intended)!
