I really want to know where all the water came from on top of the mountain. Thank you so much for going to the top view point.

Rightttt...almost doesn't make sense the amount of water. Now there's super tall treehouses at the top and a zipline going over the falls that I can't wait to go try.

Did you know that they have a tree top cafe up there on the Kuangsy Fall ?
Was still under construction when I was there filming this so can’t wait to go back!:)

My beautiful hometown,Luang Prabang and amazing KoungSy water falls. You guys did a great job hiking up and down👍💪👍 I can see myself doing that and when I get down to the pool swimming area I will just jump into the water naked 🤣🤣 Just kidding on naked part 😀

That water looks amazing. It looks almost turquoise. That must come from the limestone .
@LaoLegends9 ай бұрын
The bluest of turquoises I thought only existed in the ocean. These limestone mountains include “karsts,” geological formations that are known for their dramatic spiny appearance and are often found with caves, terraced pools, blue lagoons etc. The caves were spectacular, which I didn't expect. These particular karsts are part of the Annamite Range, a mountain range that extends across Laos, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

@@LaoLegends I didn't know that term, karsts. But I have seen those formations in Thailand. The main range in Thailand is the Petchabun Range, which is an extension of the Luang Prabang Range. Those limestone formations have always amazed me. I remember seeing one that was right near rice fields. Unfortunately, it was being mined for the production of cement.

Great hiking path. How long did it take you to do the entire hike? Note to self….bring hiking shoes when going to Kuang Si waterfall.
@LaoLegends9 ай бұрын
Hmmm just the steep part maybe 15 minutes if you're not stuck behind anybody like we were, but from the bottom where you get off the cart to the top of the falls is probably over an hour. I always take a long time wandering around every little trail to see what I can find and take it all in. Even higher up they've built these wood huts on giant stilts and a zip line that goes across the falls that wasn't finished when I was there so can't wait to go back to do this, swim and get some drone footage.

Disgusting to see the bears in captivity..
@LaoSoftware20 күн бұрын
They are rescued bears from a local circus. They're not in cages. Someone has to rescue them. I went to see the Kuang Si waterfalls and donated $100 so they can be protected. Hopefully, they will get a bigger land for these animals to roam around.
