Its nice to see a man work with what God gave him. We can't all have the big stuff to work with. Anyway could you please speak up, we ain't gonna bite you. Did like the sound of the engine and pump though.

Good video Jon. Just finished watching several of Paul & Kathy Short's videos as well. Good reference by each of you. Love that dump truck. Good you didn't get too much damage from the storms. Be safe and have a good tractor day. Keep the videos coming.

Thanks for watching! Paul and Kathy got me started making videos and I've really been enjoying it. Not sure how often I can make them but it's fun! I sure admire Paul and Kathy, they are great people, and they have a terrific channel! Stay tuned! God bless.

Nice job on the work and video. I have a L3901 and love it. But I'm thinking in a year or two getting rid of it and getting a M series and a B series. My 3901 is just right size for some projects, Little small for some and a little big for others lol. I take care of my place and it joins my moms so about 90 acres total. 1.5 miles of trails, 3/4 mile of gravel driveways, food plots for the deer and lots and lots of firewooding

I'm a regular viewer of your channel (recommended by Paul Short) and have been watching Paul and Kathy for a while now too. Great videos. Excellent references you guys make about each other. Like the "Tizzer" comment. Love it! Cheers.

Hi Jon , good video , had no idea you had a backhoe, I just purchased a BX23S and really enjoy it , haven't worked it to hard yet lol 13hrs on it so far . Keep em coming:)
@ritterjon7 жыл бұрын
Oh yes, gotta have a backhoe, even if you only use it once or twice a year. Totally worth it, sure beats using a shovel. You're going to love your new machine. Think I'm going to get a trade in value and quote from my local dealer on a new BX23S. So many new features that I find worth it. Keep watching and God bless!

Jon- I am curious whether you think a Kubota B2601 TLB would fit in a 5x10 or 6x10 dump trailer? I have a 2016 Toyota Tacoma with the towing package which is rated to 6400#. The Kubota with the tires filled weighs 3400#. I would only use to move Kubota across town 20 miles 5-10x year. Was wondering how well your Kubota BX rides with the FEL hanging off the front? Did you build a resting point for the front bucket? Are you have to get to the D rings to secure the tractor down? Thanks for your time and any thoughts you may have. Also- I won't be driving on any hills. Chris in Seattle

Hi Chris, I answered this in the other post you left. Happy tractoring and good luck.

Great job. I was wondering do you haul your kubota with the loader and backhoe attached in your dump trailer and can you do it and close the back gate? I know that the trailer will handle the weight of the tractor but will it handle the lenght at 10 ft?The reason that i ask is i'm looking at selling my equipment trailer and buying a dump trailer and don't know what lenght i would need to haul my massey gc1720 10,12, or a 14 ft trailer.

Love that hydrostatic whine of the BX. Reminds me of our old tractor. I noticed at 8:55 your right rear tail light seems to be burnt out because it didn't turn on when you started the machine. Get any storm damage? We sure did. Looks like someone took a shotgun to our siding. There are holes everywhere. Nice job, Jon. Your neighbors sure are lucky to have you nearby. Take care, God bless, and keep on tractoring!

I really need to fix that taillight. It actually works except it has a low power LED bulb that you can't hardly see. The other taillight has a factory bulb and is much brighter. I need to find a more powerful LED replacement. Sorry to hear about your place, we had pea sized hail here. Are you going to need a complete new siding job or just partial. God bless!
@jacksonk53087 жыл бұрын
Well, depends upon if the siding is discontinued or not. If it is, they replace all four sides. If it isn't, then they just replace the damaged side. Either way, it's good for the house since the siding is fourteen years old. Anyways, take care, and God bless.

I enjoy your vids but I was wondering why you didn't unpin your deck wheels and turn them 90deg and re-pin to make the deck easier to roll in and out from under the tractor?
@ritterjon7 жыл бұрын
When on a smooth concrete floor it's easier just to slide the deck out than it is to turn each wheel. It actually slides quite easily. Thanks for watching! God bless.

Will that 5x10 dump trailer haul the tractor with BH & FEL?
@markhald78257 жыл бұрын
OOps - just saw your other post on that. :) Thank you.

That deck comes off easier than my 42" deck on my lawn tractor that has 4 different clips to remove, the deck belt, plus the deck engagement cable that is the largest pain. Pretty dumb design. The mower deck on my old Craftsman GT6000 garden tractor removed pretty quick like the BX deck, literally pulled 4 pins and took the deck belt off and done. I think I'm going to go with the 60" deck on the BX, and let my lawn tractor do other yard chores like pulling the yard cart, and stuff like that. Since that loader is pretty easy to install and remove I can foresee many times using the BX without the loader for sure. Maybe a rear blade and front snow blower in the near future too. Time to stop breaking my back doing chores LOL.

I think you’ll really like the 60 inch deck. It’s well made and cuts great! It will be nice to have two options to cut your grass. Keep on tractoring!

Wait - what did you put the 3point hitch in?
@ritterjon4 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure I remember this video, did I say something stupid?
@brianr18124 жыл бұрын
@@ritterjon After you took the 3point off, you put it in a toolbox kind of container (6:42). You have such a great system organizing things. I'm curious what you put your 3point hitch in when it is not in use, and where you store it.
@ritterjon4 жыл бұрын
Brian Rawlings oh yes! That’s my $2.50 metal toolbox I bought at an auction. It was all rusty and in bad shape. A little sanding and new paint it looks like new. It used be mounted on the back of my old fourwheeler. It works perfect to store my three point system doesn’t it. 👍

You should eliminate the word free from your ad by saying load of dirt for $75 delivery included

I have run into a few incidents where someone has tried to get out of paying by doing the same thing this guy did. So watch out it's a scam many times. As a mechanic I ran into it as well. They think once it's on their vehicle or delivered it's theirs but they have another thing coming.

I've heard nothing but good things about that B2650. I've also got two tractors now. My BX and my dad's Grand L3940. I hope to one day have some land to use it. Right now it sits in storage. Just couldn't sell it.

I quit the video because not enough volume. Couldn’t hear you speak. Poor I setup. Otherwise I always watch you videos but poor quality volume on the vid will prevent me from watching . The volume of the tractor noise was good. Thank you ! Wayne from Wisconsin

I’ve learned a few tricks since making this video. My current vids have better volume. Thanks for the comment. Keep on tractoring!
