Went standard because of noise as well in my lx3310 I didn't want hydrostatic at all after showed it on my channel

I watched a video from one of the shows quite a while ago and the person test driving one said it was approx. 60% quieter. Pretty significant!@@dryrunoutdoors

I appreciate you so much for the informations you provide. The cab observations: 1. louder and 2. wicker ac. The 3rd function comes standard? I like The way you add the ag tools: prepare for the bear 🐻. Seems like no self leveling kit is necessary for you, probably you no need a pallets folk. I have a quote from Kubota dealer for LX2610SU which is around 20k for tractor only. What is the approximate price for your tractor? Thank you again sir.

Hey, something worth trying that I did, and I think it somewhat reduced the whine - remove your cab mounts 1 by 1, and slightly grind down the inner metal bushing of each, as well as grinding a slight dish into the thick metal washer (that the bushing sits on) to be sure. I think it reduced the noise transfer decently, but I'd be interested to know what you think too!

Nice video. I originally had an LX-2610, but the whine was extremely loud as you stated and asked the dealer to please pick it up; I'd pick another tractor instead. Also, it 'lurched' forward or reverse when initially starting out when gradually stepping on the hydro pedal - just a little annoying; do you have that issue also? Anyway, I've decided to get a Grand L instead and trying to decide on whether or not to get a block heater.?.? I think I heard you say you live in a climate that gets to -20 deg. F at times. Would you recommend getting a block heater? FYI - temperature here gets to 0 at times (although generally it's coldest here at 10-20 deg. F), but figured if I moved to a colder climate area it may get even colder and I'd have a heater IF I needed one. Last, if I decide to get one, I figured it's just easier to get it installed from the dealer at the start since one of the freeze plugs needs to come out of the block (something I'd rather not try). Please LMK your thoughts. Thanks again!

I would get a block heater. If it saves you one time it will be worth it. My never had a lurch problem.

Just remembered my 2nd question ... about your hydraulic top link ... what manufacturer is it from? And does it have an external check valve that prevents movement of the top link when the tractor is turned off? Thanks again!

I got it off Amazon, generic brand. It does not move when the tractor is off

i have the lx 2610 with a hydraulic top link and i can tell you once all the air is worked out, the amount of creep is minimal. i measured it once, i left it for like 2 weeks with about 700lbs hanging on the hitch and it sank about 1/4''

I think you hit all of my highs and lows on the LX3310. The fuel fill should be moved as well as the oil dilstick. No issue if you don't have a loader but how many do they sell without one? I had a LX2610 before and both tractors are equally noisy. Even if it was 50% quieter I would still wear hearing protection.

I've been looking at this size tractor, do you think the 33hp version is a little overkill for the chassis size? Wondering if the 22hp version would be better for it because it seems like Kubota is not putting more hp than some of the frames need and you will never use all the hp due to lack of weight of the tractor.

I dont think at all it's too much hp for the frame. If you have the pto engaged and running in medium range you will find it bog down on you. If your running the pto alot I would for sure get the extra HP.

I think the size of your bucket may have something to do with your tires popping off the rim

Trying to understand why you would be smelling exhaust when you have the enclosed cab… can you please explain because I’m new and looking into cab vs no cab. Thanks! Also about the AC without tinted windows it will have trouble keeping up in summer. Think you have same issue as with a car and lots of windows. Greenhouse effect

It's the diesel particulate filter. I only smell it when I am outside the cab. In the cab is fine

I have a John Deere 3038e and the whine is high on that machine too. I want a cab tractor so I am considering the LX3310. Do you know if this will fit in a 7' door height?

I’m going to guess that it won’t and the garage door mechanism that does the work hangs down a foot usually

I test drove the LX3310 didn’t t like it. Ending up buying a Kioti NX4510 with a cab. This is a much bigger and higher tractor and nicer built. I ended up building a lean to on the side of my barn to park it under.

What year is your tractor and what year did they improve the cab noise?

My machine is a 2021, I think they fixed in 2023, but you should check for yourself.
