Kubota T1600 mini diesel tractor no start repair

Doing the aforementioned will bypass all safety features of the mower, use this information at your own risk.
Here we wire in a fused push button momentary switch to actuate the starter solenoid due to a bad relay inside the combination box.
These little Kubota mini diesel tractor are awesome, they sip fuel and run forever.

Nice idea on the fuse in my opinion. I have a similar video for a G1800 and I mounted my push button in a similar location. Keep up the good work.

I'm going to install a starter bypass switch on my G1900 that has the same problem. What wire size did you use? #10? Is a 15A fuse enough for the long term? Thanks.

I have a G1800 that starts but glow plug circuit is not working,,,no power to plug,,hard starting. can the combo box be half bad just not sending signal to plug for 5 sec timer? thx

The combo box can be half bad as there are individual relays in it. Thats what was wrong with this machine and the reason I bypassed the combo box.

Have an issue with mine, same problem I think. So you're just putting a switch across the big terminal on the solenoid to the small one?

Essentially yes, it bypasses the "combination box" that Kubota's use. You want to remove the combination box from the circuit though so you don't have feedback issues.

I ran the gas tank empty and filled it up, but i think i have vapor lock. how can i clear it?

Not vapor lock, that’s something else. You just have air in your injector lines, there’s a bleed bolt at the injector pump for the feed line, make sure you have fuel to the injector pump. Use a wrench to loosen the lines at the injectors until you get fuel to them, once you do you can lightly tighten them down, once you do try to start, it should run (most likely roughly) watch for bubbles at the injector fitting, once the bubbles stop you can tighten it down, repeat for each cylinder. As you go along the tractor will run smoother and smoother.
