Dude I have watched hours of your videos awesome how you repurpose everything. I love your trouble shooting technics. Reminds me of old days before I became disabled. I think you missed your calling you are a hell of an instructor most of the stuff I try to stay a step ahead but each time I find myself learning something new. Stay safe in 2017 god bless you and your family. And keep the video coming Jim from Florida

Hey Mustie, Resurrecting an old line of comments because it is serving me NOW. I was "gifted" an old L295DT and I was told it had bad oil pressure on idle. I found this video a couple years ago, but haven't had the time to dive in and do the fix. I'm about to approach it now, and just watched again. Yours are the only videos I've seen on this issue, though I've seen a few write-ups. Thanks for taking the time to do this. I guess I'd better do a video of mine as well to adorn my channel when I get it up and rolling again... :-) Thanks!

I have a 2wd version of this tractor. It’s been without oil pressure for about 8 years. It runs great, and has never failed to start in the coldest weather. It has oil pressure until it gets to operation temperature. (I have a Harley Davidson gauge plumbed in where the sensor was.)

I seldom comment, but after second viewing I must say excellent presentation and video. This old man learned a lot that he'll never, unfortunately have a chance to use.

Thanks Mustie for this older Kubota video. I believe one of the freeze plugs under the timing gear cover on my L295 has popout. I will be taking my tractor apart to replace the little son of a gun and check my cam oil plug at the same time. Keep on posting the good stuff. Thanks

You are way more Brave than I am. I would have been terrified to roll at rear end out from underneath there not knowing whether or not I could get that shaft back up in there. Knowing my luck. Some little stupid keeper would have fell down had to take the whole tractor apart to get the keeper back in it.

Wonder if you have a set of forks for that unit. It's sweet when you can remove the bucket and put the forks right on there so that the load is kept close, unlike the "Over the bucket" type forks. Plus, you gotta have the snatch hooks welded to the top of the bucket for easy chain hoisting. That's how I roll! Great fix. Keep it up.

I worked at a food delivery company years ago, had to drive a different truck one sat. Got in and the radio was so loud it knocked me right out of the cab, so I asked the regular driver why the radio was so loud, he said that the bell going off was to loud. I checked, it was the low coolant alarm, put some fluid in it, alarm went right off. He didn't work there any longer.
