I have a 2019 rd1211. After too many flats to remember I replaced with Tweels, not an inexpensive upgrade but I never have to worry about flats and the ride is significantly improved. I run a 60” deck with a mulching setup year round. After 1000 hrs it’s still running great. I do follow recommendations for service at the proper time and my Kubota technicians have always been there when needed. Very happy with the service from Kubota

What blades are you running now? I just bought the 60" (better for my usage) and have the stock Kubota blades. Please describe your blade experience. Thank you for your videos. Great information!
@HI-PSI4 жыл бұрын
We run the regular Kubota blades these days. I used to run the gator blades but they don't seem to last as long as for some reason. We do run the gators on our Scag though, they work well on it but the Kubota seems to like stock blades best. I know what you're saying about the 60", there's several places out here where the 72" just won't work/fit. That's when I hop on the Scag, I think it's a 60". Thanks for the question!

Z Noble the reason gator blades don’t last as long is cause they cut the grass multiple times to chop the grass up smaller Have u tried Oregon high lifts. U have to cut the center hole out though. 1 5/16 I think

If you had to pick one, scag or kubota?
@HI-PSI Жыл бұрын
Kubota is more comfortable overall. Scag is easier to change blades and much easier to change belts. I still prefer Kubota just for comfort, but I have a yard that takes 6hrs to mow and I'll send it to the shop for a belt change. For commercial purposes, Scag, for comfort, Kubota. Both are excellent

So you don't like the color of the fuel caps...... I have a zd326 since 2009 and the Machine has been flawless. I would never worry about a color of a black fuel cap

Should have gotten a rear discharge
@ryanm.2 жыл бұрын
My ZD1211 72” rear discharge is a nightmare! The rear flaps on the deck have (3) separate rubber pieces. Constantly replacing them at over $80 each… for cheap rubber flaps… I lost one last week… I have to keep my eye on the temperature gauge on the service screen… after about an hour or so I have to get my blower and blow off the radiator due to getting too hot. The clippings jump up into the engine compartment covering the screen and radiator. Ridiculous design!! I had a small rock jump up into my engine last year, bounced up hit my fan, put a hole in my radiator… shot coolant everywhere and overheated my mower and cracked the head. $2,500 in repair parts only… O… and I busted my storm door screen door as well… never done that with any of the side discharge decks I’ve owned… shot a piece of gravel and shattered the glass… Regret this 72” rear discharge system I have. I’d trade decks with you evenly in a heartbeat!!!

@@HI-PSI yeah some people think its not powerful wich your right that was a bs i find kubota engines are stronger and powerful plus there engines are accully cheaper then other brand engines wich why love kubotas plus my neices mom is a cheif inspector officer in thailand where there inspection facility is and thats why i deside next year im getting there powerful 16.3hp kubota GL11,000 a 11,000 watt generator wich was pretty cheap for generator for $8,000 at my dealer and cat dealer was so rediculas for a 10,000 watt wich they wanted $36,900 wich i said for get it not paying rediculas $36,900 for a 10,000 watt caterpillar generator

@@michaelmactavish1728 no kidding, that's neat. My neighbor has an older (2009) model kubota mower that blew a head gasket. A couple weeks later he had it rebuilt and mowing again. There was no other damage. Just the gasket. They're tough. I think a lot of folks don't change the air and fuel filters enough which in turn creates low power issues.
@michaelmactavish17284 жыл бұрын
@@HI-PSI yeah the older ones are still on the go around here too accully and they put a new head gasket in it wich the head gasket wasnt to bad for new part wich was cheap wich kubotas useually sell there parts for older and newer models at cheap affordable price wich not as rediculas over priced parts like deere and other brands does wich kubota saves alot of money on parts

Z Noble on my dixie chopper all I do is blow out the air filter. It’s still the original and it’s 10 years old. Secondary filter is clean as a whistle I do the same thing on the kubota

Sooo the statement that they dont come assembled is wrong WRONG yea i work at an ag dealership we sell these been there about 4 years and anyone one ive had to set up drives off the crate and have to put the rop on Now obviously adjustments for deck level and hydro and fee other simple things need to be checked and made but typically it comes out of the crate relatively ready to go

So only 200 hours in 4 years? I have 800 on a gravel in the same amount of time. And that’s from just mowing my yard.
