One thing I see with these small rigs is you're centering the camera in the holder...not the lens. If you center the lens (offset the camera) it would be more intuitive when filming. Also integrate a moveable lens shade over the camera, on the brace.

July 2022: I went to Lowe's this morning and purchased all of the PVC fittings, tubing, and the machine bolt. I've just put it together, just as the instructions said in the video. Super easy. Took me maybe 30 minutes from starting the cutting of the PVC to finishing the glue-up. Total cost of material was $10.44. You can't beat that anywhere!! I'm waiting twenty four hours, and then I'll give it a flat black coat of spray paint. Super helpful project video HI PSI

You can attach a bluetooth remote on one of he handles to make it easier. The thumb may not be able to reach the phone depending on the user.

I did something similar but I mounted a ring light on it using the power from one of those portable phone chargers. But what you did here was incredible.

Very Nice! Totally gonna do this. Except I think I'm gonna leave the bottom end caps unglued on the right and left handles so that they can be removed and it can be fitted onto a floor-standing tripod; also made from PVC, of course. Side note: I noticed the date this video was published was today's date and was like "Wow, almost a quarter-million views in less than 24 hrs!!!" But then I realized it said 2017 instead of 2019. Derp! Lol.

Should be the same, just look up the one with the spring loaded screw as to not move your camera when attaching the camera to the mounting screw
