How to access the hidden settings : set display to MPH etc

01= 0= zero start, 1= non-zero start. 02= speed limit, 25 by default; 03= wheel diameter, 8.0 by default; 04= speed measuring magnets inside the motor, 30 by default; 05= first gear power (percent), 60 by default; 06= second gear power (percent), 80 by default; 07= third gear power (percent), 100 by default; 08= cruise control, 0= off, 1=on. 09, 10, 11 are not used. 12= battery voltage. 20= auto shutdown time, 180sec by default (3min); 22= 1= KERS brake enabled, 0= KERS brake disabled. 23= 0= km/h, 1= mph. 24= screen contrast 99 is used for clearing the odometer (see user manual how to do it).

could you explain 4? also when i turned up the battery voltage by one step, the battery shows as empty even though i set it back.

Alyctro after you set it back you need to press and hold set button 5 -6 seconds otherway your new settings will not be saved.

Many thanks, the manual has a table but didn't say how to save the changes! Mph now set. The scooter seems to have a top speed of 30kmh which is plenty fast. However curiosity got me playing with menu 2 to see what is the top speed. Default appears lower at 25 (kmh?) This seems to have no effect? Any ideas?

u have poor engine motor like 250w or 150w

well the controller just failed on mine. the speed indicator just flashers ( bug numbers ) now. so now i have to get a replacement controller. its cheap to get but still not good. ( hope it is the controller and not something with the display controller) since there are 2 controllers on it ..one is in the display that drives the 2nd controller for the hub.

this happened to me, but we tried to connect battery directly to the motor to see what broke down, or is the controller or, is it something else...and it got short circuit. After that we tried to connect everything back and it worked just fine. that happened to me when i drove about 600km, now I'm at 1737km and had no problems.

Check speed sensors, 2 sensors one for speed one for kers. Literally both levers, speed and brake. Sensors may not be fully inserted.

@@giubaca yea its fixed now it was the controller for the hub motor...its been fine for over 8 months now lol
