I wore my hot rydr pants to work today out in 40 degree weather & I can already tell they won't keep me warm unless I wear a base layer & long wool socks. They are still great pants, just not for anything below 34 degrees. I'm a bit disappointed that the flannel lining is soo thin. Now I have to look for another pair of pants that has a fleece lining that is thicker for the dead of winter up north. This pant is a fall & spring pant for anyone up north looking to buy a pair. Would not recommend as a winter pant anywhere it snows.

That is good feedback. I appreciate that. I am testing another pair of pants that are a but warmer ( iron forge )

@Engearment iron forge? Kuhl or another brand? I live up north & we are likely about to have a very harsh winter so I absolutely need the best pants for winter outdoor work. Last year I had to walk thru 3ft of snow all day doing pest control for... idk, snow spiders, lol! The last 3 years has been rough so I want rugged, warm, waterproof or resistant pants to hold up for several years.

@@Engearment you have any videos on winter boots or the care & waterproofing of boots? If not, now would be the perfect time to make one. Most boots that claim to be waterproof are not at all! I have never bought a pair that was waterproof for longer than 2 weeks & I buy as high quality as I can afford.
