Good honest review and the direct marketing does bring their stuff in for less than say SITKA, but I think they’re still a pricey line. I’ve only bought from them when they have their outlet sale and I loved their liner jacket, I did buy a vest which turned out to be too small and customer service was excellent and I returned it for a full refund! They really are a specialty line for western high altitude hunts for sheep and goats from my perspective.

Ordered these pants about a week ago and received them today. I supposed I should have researched the sizing situation a little more because I ordered a 28 thinking It might even be too big for me (Im 5'4", 145 lbs) and let me tell you, I couldn't even begin to fit my behind in these pants 😂 I called customer service and they walked me through sending them back and ordering me a size 30 since they do not do straight across exchanges. If you are a women buying kuiu pants, DEFINITELY size up one to two sizes!

Well I just ordered them and I’m hoping they fit. I bought the short and I’m 5 ‘10. Generally my inseam is 32-30in depending on brand so I figured the 34in regular would be too long. Kuiu’s short claims to be 31in. Being that you are shorter and they fit you I guess I’m a little worried I went with the wrong length. I generally wear a 36 so I went up a size to the 38. Having a larger rump may make this an interesting fit for me.. I may be finding out how good the customer service really is haha

I'm 135lbs and just order a 28 short. Hopefully it fit. After hearing your review, should I return it one it arrived and get a 30 short instead?

I think it will depend a lot on your hips and thighs. I’m not lacking in either of those areas, so the 28 may fit you. If they’re too small, customer service is usually great if you need to exchange. Good luck! Follow up in the comments with how they fit so others will know if you don’t mind!

Are these pants burr resistant? Especially in the midwest woods.

I’ve only worn them in the Southeast. I’m not sure if they’re supposed to be burr resistant, but I’ve worn them in our woods and still ended up with several burrs, especially around the ankles.

Have these shrunk on you at all? I bought two sizes. The 30’s fit a lot better except right around the tummy. If they shrunk at all they’d be too tight. The 32’s feel a lot better right around the middle but are pretty baggy. The 32’s have a inch wider leg and I think a longer butt.

I washed them several times and never had them shrink. I always hung them to dry just to be sure. I never tried the 32’s, but it sounds like I maybe should have.
