Heck yes! We hav two new bow hunter writers on the Team, so we should have some fun coverage in this area here in a few months. Definetly agree tha KUIU has some really great gear. They put a lot of tech into their line up. I have been impressed with each item we have tested for them. Do you have some favorite gear from them? @@Engearment I have been wearing the Kuiu Kenai vest a lot. I believe it uses all the same material as the Patagonia Nano Air (both shell material and insulation). Their ultra marino 210 liner gloves are made with NuYarn and are also fantastic.

Agreed! I'd love to see a review of some of their Down jackets. Which, if you get them in the Gray/Khaki colors... they look like other outdoor/ski brands for everyday wear.

One correction and some comments. The KUIU Yuko Pro Gloves are made of sheepskin (Cabretta leather made from hairsheep) not goatskin. The Cabretta leather is treated with Pittards Oiltac polymer to aid in contact adhesion and grip. As previously mentioned, since Pittards Leather went bankrupt last year, so it'll be interesting to see about supply chain. Although you are correct that traditional gore-tex gloves will employ a gore-tex liner, there are plenty of gore-tex gloves employing Gore Grip Technology, which bonds gore-tex to the glove shell like HDry does. For example, the MH Exposure/2 gore-tex and Exposure Light gore-tex gloves you reviewed employ Gore Grip technology. So, you might need to do some cutting of a few different and expensive gloves🤣. HDry waterproof rating is >10,000mm so definitely not as waterproof as gore-tex.

with regards to this comment above around Gore Grip and HDry technologies bonding to the shell of the gloves, there needs to be some clarity around the two different waterproof solutions. HDry is not a "free hanging" wpb insert technology. HDry membrane uses a unique 3D direct lamination process to apply and adhere the membrane directly to the "inner" of the outer shell of the glove. By doing this, 100% of all seams are sealed and therefore there is no gap between the glove shell and the interior chamber inside the glove. The elimination of this gap allows for a drier and more comfortable climate within the glove chamber. No water will penetrate through seams or shell materials. In comparison Gore Grip technology uses a standard free hanging glove membrane which does create that "gap" and then uses an extra layer of membrane which is laminated to the shell however it does not seal all seams in the same way HDry does. Thus, Gore Grip technology has little to do with HDry 3D direct lamination technology which laminates to the entire surface of the glove completely blocking water and cold air at the outer shell layer.
