Hi Tom, very nice cup and real handcrafted. I remember the first coffee out of my self made Kuksa from our old cherry tree. During a hike last year, sitting on a bench round lunch time with a view over a wide valley, suddenly a big old wild boar distance of 50m comes out of the wood passing by my position. Nice sunday and stay healthy. Alex

PERFECTION COMES WITH PRACTICE...and blackberries' are my favorite. Vegetable oil as corn or sunflower or olive are the best. Boiled linseed oil and shellacs and wood preservatives are all but deemed very toxic and should not be used for the boards cut meat or vegetables on nor any wooden utensil or wood toys . Thanks for that wonderful video.. Watching one a day is bringing a lot of my past carving and camping experience back and I come to laugh at souvenirs of the past when it often took a lot of trials before I could attain the goal I was pursuing. After a few tries and more practice I always came to succeed...✨🎡✨🐱🐉👍

The sound of these Kuksa and a wooden spoon would make great percussion to scand a song by the campfire, Our music store is still opened, Nord Musique, and I bought last month a Tank Drum, an amazing instrument in A pentatonic. They make them out of a discarded propane gas tank... a true work of art. I gave their card around, we need them for the youth to be able to access music in their activities especially in these confinement times. I'll try to go on another trek soon and see what's still opened in town a couple of miles walking along the river will do me good..✨🎡✨🐱🐉

Great video and awesome work Mr Tom! I just hope when I get ready to make my first kuksa that it comes out as good as the ones you have made. I was very happy to see your going to do another bushcraft from A to Z. I will definitely be watching all of those. Also I just received my new customized Esee 5 the other day from knife connection.com and time to put it to work, since my other Esees are wearing down. But thank you for the video, have a great weekend and stay safe- Steve

Tom, another Great video to add to your series. Oh I adore the Kuksa that u carved. One day when I gain more experience and confidence in using my tools. I will attempt a Kuksa of my own. I do love your little hatchet. Long and narrow on the bit but beveled nicely to the edge. I finally received my carving set. By way of Amazon USA. I had to sharpen the knives as they weren't very sharp when received. I have been practicing carving small figures and animals. I did purchase a Kuksa thru Amazon as a reference point. Mine is made by a company called Twelve ounces. Has the twelve marks on handle. I believe was probably machined but is beautiful. I only pour eleven ounces into the cup. I do have to I leave room for Jack Daniels. When I received I used a magnifying glass and checked every inch for possible fissures or cracks in the woods and. I found none. Both Jack and I are content with our Kuksa for now. Until I can carve my own. ATB to you and your family. Take care.

Hi James 👋🏻😊 Thanks for your feedback and interesting information about your Kuksa The caving tools that you have got 🤔 is that from BeaverCraft ? … strange that it wasn’t sharp when you got them. … but I’m glad you got a nice Kuksa you and your friend Jack can enjoy together 😇👌🏻 I think that coffee tastes best in a wooden cup … and with the sweetener of whiskey 💪🏻 Looking forward to see your homemade Kuksa once it’s finished. Editing my next video today and launch it … probably later today 😉 hope you’ll like Hope you’ll have a wonderful weekend my friend and to see you again on my next one 🏕 Atb to you and your family Tom

Hi Tom, loved your video as usual ( thumbs up ). I have to be honest with you Tom, you remind me so much of my late Dad - he too was into making things with leather, wood, animal skins. He used to do archery etc, and lived in the country, a place he loved very much, but having said that, I love your video's because there is something really good about them, it's like you take us on a journey and you teach us a lot of things, though I see my Dad in you, I also see you as you! Thank you for the time and effort to bring us ( your youtube family ) these wonderful video's. All the best to you and your family :o)
