I remember first time I got to this part in the game, watching Ezio hold on to the rope on the carriage, the music made me realise how far he’s come and what he’s been through, it was honestly an amazing moment for me and reminded me of all the adventures I had with Ezio, I miss him to this day

You'd imagine Ezio contemplating how he got himself into this situation while freezing. Sequence 1 was as depressing you could get

Actually, now I think this last part I was talking about was exclusive to the mode, because that same part also played in the end of the other song of the mode, the same song that plays during Den Defense. So it's not really a missing piece of this song, it's a small separate song.

Because this song shows how Ezio’s journey comes to the end. I mean it literally says to you that this is final journey to the legendary Ezio Auditore, who while retire and later day in Embers, yet his legacy still lives with the heart of all young and modern Assassins. This theme really touches the soul and literally says that Ezio still has a fire in him as he was young, but also showing that this is his final mission, final journey.
