For me, THE best version of this track. Stylish, energetic, great vocals, everything on point. Kula Shaker is so under rated. During this 'current' lock down, in off outside to paint my fence with Kula Shaker blasting in my ears. Much ❤️ to you all. X
@CaesarCapone4 жыл бұрын
Now, I love Kula Shaker! But I gotta say, I'm still partial to the original. Don't get me wrong, KS did an amazing cover, I really love it! But the POWER of the original vocals, and the musicianship can't be overlooked! Anyway... Yada yada... "J. C. vs The B's 'She C i T t B W?' I like the cover better!!" And think of all the "traditional" songs which have led to hits for more than one individual/group/band! I'm rambling. I guess my point is: you can like/prefer any version of a song, but please don't dismiss the original!

@@CaesarCapone Confused? I thought you prefer the original to Deep Purple's version?
@CaesarCapone4 жыл бұрын
@@johnnystorm74 I made a mistake in calling it the "original." I do not prefer Billy Royal's version, but rather I prefer Deep Purple's version. To me, it's the original, as this should have been a rock & roll song from the start, not country playing at rock.
