Andy doesn’t disappoint but I’d have to say if Andy would host his own show he can carry it well but at the pace and unashamed zaniness of Conan he would come up short. I’m sure if Andy was the host and Conan was the cohost you’d say that Conan could easily take over the show. It’s also a matter of how you connect with the audience they don’t do it the same. Being a moderately quiet guy with a similar Andy quality at making observational humor I understand why you would validate his talent when so many would dismiss this quality and look for the outlandish host. Imagine is Eric Andre was Conan’s cohost it would be anarchy and it wouldn’t work long term.
