Hi Ivan! I appreciate that! If you think it looks good, maybe you should some of the recipes! As long as anyone visiting my channel appreciates the content, it means more meaningful to me than a million views! Thank you so much for your support!

Hey, kind of a late comment but your wasabi video appeared on my homepage and it didn't take long for me to binge watch the rest of your videos. They are so professional, the amount of research, knowledge, camera, shooting, editing, angles, god... it's like a documentary. I haven't even heard of half of what you're using and my mouth is watering. Great channel, very inspiring, more videos please!

Hi Myprogram! Your comment is definitely noticed! Very glad to hear that you've enjoyed the videos, and yes there was definitely a bit of development involved during production :D :D :D I'm flattered you say it's like a documentary! My goal was to provide unfiltered information that is either difficult to find or unclear. Definitely many more videos in production, I hope every single one of them have the same effects as they do with the existing ones! You'll need a bucket to collect all of your dripping saliva hahahaha 🤤 Thank you so much for supporting my channel, it's greatly appreciated!

I really enjoy your videos. You’re so knowledgeable about so many things. Two questions: 1- you seem to have quite a volume of knowledge related to gardening of difficult to grow edible plants and fruit trees. Are you a master gardener? 2- why do you wear black nitrile gloves in so many of your videos?

Hi again @watrgrl2 ! I'm so very glad to hear you enjoy these videos, it's comments like this that keep me motivated! Questions 1. You seem to have quite a volume of knowledge related to gardening of difficult to grow edible plants and fruit trees. Are you a master gardener? Answer : I wouldn't consider myself a master, but I see it as always open to learn from others and share with others - I focus on difficult to grow plants others struggle with, surrounding Japanese cultivars. 2 - Why do you wear black nitrile gloves in so many of your videos? Answer : Not only do they look cool, I wear these gloves because I'm very prone to injury such as splinters and thorns! I also put lotion on my hands and cover it up with gloves to keep it moisturized, as a gardener your hands are always dry! As an added bonus, they're also sanitary and easy to wash to be reused! Thank you so much for showing your support for my channel!

Did you grow your own finger limes? Where'd you get them, if you don't mind me asking? I think I saw in another video that you're in California. I'm in California as well, and getting citrus trees here is such a headache with the hlb situation, but I'd love to have some finger limes.
@UmamiGarden2 жыл бұрын
Hi Socks! Yes, I grew all my finger lime varieties from grafts and seeds. Seeds were imported from a vendor in Southern California over 10 years ago, they're no longer around unfortunately. Many nurseries aren't allowed to sell any citrus trees, they were all purged about 5 years ago when HLB was discovered. The trees are dwarfs ranging between 5-10 years old - I've had them for quite some time! You're correct! I'm in California as well! Depending on your region, citrus fruits and plants cannot be moved outside of quarantine areas due to what you mentioned, HLB or (ACP) Asian Citrus Psyllid. The disease they carry decimated an entire industry in Florida, most of Southern California has also been affected. Please visit the CCPP (Citrus Colonial Protection Program) ccpp.ucr.edu/ for a list of clean scions available. They've been tested and are free of any disease. In terms of grafting, I'm working on a grafting video for citrus and many other plants to help you on your journey! At best, seeds are ok since they are not carriers of the disease. Scions can carry the disease, unsanitary pruning shears will transfer the disease if not cleaned properly. I'm very sorry I didn't have all the information you were seeking. I hope this information helps and thank you so much for supporting my channel!
