out of all the Filipino foods that get a bad rap, I honestly believe that sizzling sisig is going to boom worldwide once everyone discovers how good it is. Goes so good with beer, after beer, before beer. egg on top and some magic sarap MSG and an ice cold beer

I think you are already famous, you don't have to wait for someday to be famous. That is good that you know how to cook and will do it. Yes !! You did found our recipe ! Sisig with cheese 😋that is my American husband contribution to my sisig cooking at home . We did put mayonnaise too , but he preferred goat cheese or blue cheese it sooo tasty when it melted into the meat .

In just a month, you have the look of being pampered! Your skin tone and positive energy is WOW! I am very glad you are in the comfort of your home with your parents. The magic is there in South Wales and around. Cooking Filipino food, shopping at the Asian market stores is one other good way to please yourself with whatever you are missing back home. I am sure there are quite a number of Filipinos around SW. Hopefully, you will come to see or meet them after the easing of lockdown/social distancing in there.

That garlic is called elephant garlic because of it’s humongous size. We have them here in the States every summer. We have the yearly garlic festival in Gilroy, CA where it’s grown.

By the way, the original sisig is 1st boiled then grill in charcoal after which, chop in small pieces add onion, garlic, pepper salt and sili. Use the pigs brain instead of salt and use the snout and tongue instead of liver.

Adding cheese instead of salt looks creamy awesome! In its original recipe in Pampanga, they add mayonaise for its creamy flavor!

If you have a sizzling plate, there's another recipe for this and its called sizzling sisig. Your leftover will be stir fried over the sizzling plate and then adding soy sauce, calamansi juice (lemon juice can be used as a substitute) and mayonaise. And then finished it with an egg on top of the sisig. Mix it all together and its ready to serve.
