Kumiko Frydl Wins 1st Place at AQS QuiltWeek - Paducah

Kumiko Frydl, who won 1st Place in the Miniature Quilts category sponsored by Quilters Select by Alex Anderson and RNK Distributing, talks with Bonnie Browning about her award-winning quilt.
Look closely at this wholecloth quilt where all of the color is done with thread stitching. The edge is trimmed with baby rickrack and the binding is embroidered and scaled for the top and bottom edges and then the sides.
