クモの巣作りの一周（オニグモ）糸の張り方が凄すぎる！ A round of spider web construction Un giro di costruzione della ragnatela

網を作るオニグモに目が留まって一周撮影してみたところ、その技に驚きました。動画は普通の速さで始まりますが、速すぎるので2か所をスローモーションで再生してみました。それでも糸の付け方は魔法のように見えます。
特にクモが好きな訳ではありませんが、圧倒的な魅力を感じますし、畑にいるクモたちは野菜作りに貢献してくださっているので、見守ってあげます。
Filming this spider making the web, I was amazed by its mastery. The video starts at normal speed, but since it is difficult to understand the movement with which it fixes the new thread, I slowed down 2 scenes. Nonetheless, the final step remains quick and seems like a magic trick.
I don't particularly like spiders, but I find them extraordinarily fascinating. In addition, the spiders in my field help to defend the vegetables and therefore I smile at their presence.
Mentre filmavo questo ragno che faceva la ragnatela, sono rimasto sorpreso dalla sua maestria. Il video inizia a velocità normale, ma essendo difficile capire il movimento con cui fissa il filo nuovo, ho rallentato 2 spezzoni. Ciononostante il passaggio finale resta veloce e sembra un trucco magico.
Non mi piacciono particolarmente i ragni, ma li trovo straordinariamente affascinanti. Inoltre i ragni nell'orto contribuiscono a difendere le verdure e quindi cerco di lasciarli stare.

Soooo... i thought you might like to here a story about an ancient South Indian temple, which is dedicated to Vayu, The Wind. The temple's name is Shrikallahasti. The name is a compound of Shri = the spider Kala = the snake Hasti = the Elephant 5 Shivalingas (symbols of the universe) were installed in ancient times for worship of the 5 elements in South India. The Linga, which represents Vayu, the Wind God was worshipped by a Shri, a spider who wove nets around it to protect it from bad weather. Shiva kept destroying the spider's nets, yet Shri continued to weave her tissues to protect the Lord, whom she adored. Finally Shiva granted her moksha, the ultimate release from the cycle of rebirth. Another worshipper of the vayu linga was Kala, the snake. He used to hug the linga and offer precious gemstones to it. The third worshipper, Hasti the elephant worshipped the linga by pouring water on it, which he brought from lakes and rivers, carrying it in his trunk. He also revered the linga by offerings of sacred Bilva leaves and flowers. The snake, who lived under the linga was angered by the "garbage" left behind by Hasti and removed it daily. Hasti on the other hand washed away those useless stones he found at the linga. Kala finally got so furious that he bit Hasti's trunk, when he placed his offerings on the linga. The elephant roared in pain and hit his trunk against a stone to get rid of the snake, thus smashing Kala before he fell down on the linga, dead from the snake's venom. Shri, the spider came crawling from transcendence and covered everything with her web.

👍 #20 How fascinating to watch. It is like a work of art the way they spin and construct their webs. It reminds me of my Granny always knitting but a similar sort of robotic movements like a well oiled machine. It's amazing how the spider feeds the silk through its legs and then using all its legs to feed and pin and pass the silk etc. Amazing to watch and their skills at spinning and constructing their webs is one of natures wonders. thank you for sharing this my dear friend. 👍◕‿◕

It gives me courage to see that there is people who is interested in real nature contents. @@AndreaNature Aww, that's nice of you to say. just copy and paste any bits you ever like and slot them into your description any time. Yes, 2 weeks back, one of my red deer rut videos got over a million views in 6 days!!! and 3.5K added subs in the same time! The downside to it is they are all for deer really and I'm not sure if they will all stick around as other videos are added over the coming months, but it was fun watching the numbers fly up! Sadly, since KZbin sent a note saying they were not promoting it and it decided (without a physical person looking at it.... again) that it wasn't suitable for adverts. I have asked for a review but last time it took 10 months and they did not reverse it. Hey-ho. My Stone-curlew was pretty standard and I used all the footage I had. 3 times now I have spent a week on and off trying to edit my Peregrine Falcon chicks growing and fledging, but each time it has been too daunting and time-consuming. I'm resigned to making 2 parts but not keen on doing that... but over 100 diff' video clips and 20 minutes plus long is draining. Anyway, I'm trying again off and on, but falling behind on other stuff, lol. Hey-ho It is a battle to publish the video in the right month too and this is now 2 months behind and watchers will probably have moved on. All stuff to consider further moving forward. More important of course is me getting back well again and I'm on the mend. Still some way to go and still overcoming new minor complications along the way, but getting there slowly my dear friend and thank you for caring. 👍◕‿◕

Always happy dear Jane to hear that the recover is continuous, even if a bit slow. Oh, now I understand which is Your massive video that is so time consuming. That is quite a difficult choice indeed and I am not even able to advice You. I basically think that only a few would watch a 20 min long video, because I see how most of my videos are watched only at 60% despite they are so short. My 6 min long videos are watched for 50% or less, which means in Your case that half the people would miss what You worked so hard at. Split the video may raise the retention but there is a risk that one of the videos is watched much less. Take Your time to finish the work and then decide, possibly in a moment of relax. Great to hear what happened in Your channel! A bit weird their decision though. All in nature is educational.. Keep recovering dear Jane! Ciao!
