Kundo clocks don't have date codes. If the movement is wide (almost as wide as the dial) then it is from the early 50s. They switched to a narrow plate movement to save on import duties in the early to mid-1950s.

Our clock is very similar to what your showing. My wife is unsure, thinks her parents brought back from Germany post WW II (1954-55). About 4 yrs ago, after sitting for 20-30 yrs on a garage shelf, we had it serviced by an Ole Clocksmith, Professionaly polished and it looks beautiful in our Family room. Wife considers it heirloom quality considering the family history behind it, something to pass on to future generations. How often should it be serviced (cleaning/lubricated etc)? Thanks Again

We have a Kundo clock that's similar to this one. Problem is that it gains 10-15 minuets in a 24 hr period. Have tried to adjust the wheel (right & left) above the pendulum with no success. Any suggestions?

Turn the wheel several turns clockwise and see if that slows it down. If it is all the way clockwise and it still fast, then the suspension spring needs replacement or adjustment. We offer a repair service, please see the link to Bill's Clockworks in the description of the video.

It WORKED! Thank you for the quick fix! Wife is happy. Has gained 2 mins in last 24 hrs, will continue to adjust/fine tune. Is there a way to date clock? Thanks Again.

Bill, i have a kundo 400 day clock and i notice that most have the adjustment feet on the bottom. yet mine doesnt. is that normal? did they come without the adjustment feet?

The older ones don't have leveling feet. (Or they could be missing, you can look under the clock and see if there are threaded holes for the feet.)

The music reminds me of Whirled.com, but a beautiful clock, I just obtained the same one :)
