The Beast, played by Bruce Leung, is actually a beast in real life, he's not just a martial artist performer and actor, he's an actual kick boxer and MMA artist at some point in his life, though there are rumors about him defeating 10+ thugs all at once, let's just leave it as a rumor, but he's still a beast.

I am happy Stephen demanded perfection from all the crew. Now we have a blockbuster movie that might last 3-4 generations in terms of creativity and technicality. Especially the fighting and the road runner scenes between the Pig Sty owner and the character played by Mr. Stephen Chow. A great movie with fantastic actors and actresses, this movie will go down as one of the memorable works of Mr. Stephen Chow, Well done Sir!

This film was a love letter to, not only Chinese cinema, but to American cinema as well. As a result, Stephen Chow was able to make one of the greatest films of all time. Not just the greatest Kung Fu film, but one of the greatest films, period! I own this film in every format, and I watch it at least once a year! Just an amazing film!

But I find the trick that was presented in " romeo must die" when we ,the audience were given the real thing that happens actually inside the human body when jet lee broke the backbone of his opponent with just one devastating kick to the head , just marvelous !
