It's difficult to rate these characters when the writing is this poor. Chameleon one shots Kai, Shen and Tai Lung, Po struggles against her, then all of a sudden 1 shots her at the end (with Zhen, technically 2 shot)

It’s wild how Po got stronger in 4, but still isn’t higher than Oogway. He learned Shifu’s stone breaking technique. He has the staff at his disposal which he can blast those nicely animated energy attacks. He just feels stronger than ever in this. Maybe it was a stretch putting him and Oogway in the same tier before this movie. Just something I think about, I wish we could’ve gotten a longer hand to hand fight with him and Kai

in terms of feats Kai is deffinitely way above Chameleon.. also let's not forget Tigress can catch a arrow heading to her head from outside her field of vision.. Tai Lung and Shifu can probably do the same.. Tai lung got cheesed by Chameleon's hax but he wouldn't get cheesed again, her tongue is fast but not arrow fast, as for the others she just captured their spirits mid summon so they didn't have a shot at dodging the hax.. especially Kai, being as strong as Tai Lung is probably enough to beat anyone except Oogway and Kai, and I guess Po now (I wasn't convinced with base Po being on Tai Lung's level in KFP3 but in KFP4 Base Po got a lot of respect, probably cuz he didn't have Tigress to humiliate him like in 2 and 3)

Yeah Kai definitely seemed more impressive, but it’s hard to argue Kai is higher when Chameleon absorbed him. Like I mention in the video, the only counter I can think of is Kai absorbed Oogway while Chameleon didn’t.

That’s true, however, as to how she gained her power is completely irrelevant when it comes to a discussion about her peak. Once she stole everyone’s Kung Fu, there is absolutely 0 debate that would suggest Kai is even a fraction as powerful as The Chameleon… The Chameleon with just the power of Tai alone would stomp Kai 🤷‍♀️

I just realize something in king fu panda 4 no big spoilers UF U SAW THE TRAILER shifu said that po would go to the higgest rank of king fu spiritual leader and we heard many time that it took 1000 years to get a new dragon warrior before po became the one so does that mean that oogway was ever the dragon warrior

This movie was soo bad.. The only reason it was created was to get as much cash with as little effort. -No furious 5 bc their voices were too expensive -Villan with no motivation -They made a joke out of Tai lung (also didn't give him redemption arc which everyone wanted) -No voices of Shen nor Kai -No depper message -Everything happends just because... -Characters over all have no motivation -All scenes with Ping and Li were for nothing and only took screen time, they also were in the movie only because their voices are cheaper than those of Furious 5 -Zhen's change of mind was out of nothing Tbh Zhen and fighting scenes are the only good things in this movie. I hope the 5th and 6th movies will be better. Over all I don't hate this movie, but I would never give it more than 5/10

I believe after a lot of bad movies Dreamworks needed cash for yesterday, specially with Teenager Kraken, so they reduced the movie's budget, because they knew we would watch anyway. Since this movie works as the start of a new trilogy I believe with the cash they will get they'll do better with 5 & 6.

I thought this movie was about to come later this year since it wasn't that long ago we got the trailer jeez that was fast thanks for the reminder.. anyways finally got to watch it and i gotta say i have the same sentiment it was alright a lot of nice ideas introduced yet they were handled in a pretty disappointing way the villain is straight up a kai ripoff and i considered him the worst till she showed up at least kai had a personality and was funny if it wasn't for the creative way she uses her power she would've been complete dookie.. as for zhen i surprisingly like her character and her interactions with po were nice but the movie felt like it was going at lightning speed that it was hard for me to digest things it made me not buy the whole teacher/student dynamic they were going for much also what's with "dreamworks" rushing things all of a sudden with po having to have a successor this should've been something introduced in the end or close to it at least like u know how many movie adventures we could have had before shifu dropped that on him also wasnt he already busy teaching others chi u know that thing that was hinted at in the end of the last movie *sigh* and i could go on and on honestly if u ask me i think they should do one more movie that goes out with a bang and call it quits cause the more this franchise keeps going the more mediocre it becomes also dont worry homie take ur time on things i understand life ain't easy especially on youtube stay gold warrior of weebiness

I'd put Zhen in High Master considering their rematch. First fight Po only really outwitted her with the surroundings, and second fight it was a full on brawl which left them both pretty exhausted. This is KFP4 Po btw rather than KFP3 Po that was in Grandmaster. I'd definitely put Po higher than her considering Zhen sucked ass when she was against the Chameleon.

She broke out of the cage and then was knocked off the bridge by the fake Zhen. He then came back and Zhen tried to stop him from fighting Chameleon but couldn't do anything so she had to hug him to try and get him to stop.

She decided she had to fight him which ended with them both laying on the ground exhausted. Then Po gets up and walks past her saying "Why would you care" and then the hug happens. Although I may be wrong on the order of where he says that line, I strictly remember that happening in the theatre.

The fight was shorter than I remember so that'd be another reason why she wouldn't go in Grandmaster tier despite the performance.

There’s a lot I don’t like about this list me personally. Master badger twins should be higher, Shen should be mid master, master viper should be high master, master porcupine should be high master considering how legendary and highly spoke of he is in kung fu legend

The bader twins were losing to Mei Mei. Porcupine has hype, but I try to rank them objectively and based off things we've seen. Shen fought Po and was one of the masters Chameleon chose to use in her fight against Po, so I think high master is appropriate. At worse he is the top of mid master.

Also the jombies are incredibly weaker than their real versions, this being the fact Kai has their chi for himself to power himself, he just uses their bodies as foot soldiers to do his bidding. Hell ping and li fought off shifu when shifu unjombified went toe to toe with kai who was powered up tremendously by chi.
