The thing that I love the most about the training montage is that Master Shifu actually starts having fun training him and enjoys it again after so many years, just like Shifu is the master that Po needed, Po is the student that Shifu needed too

Shifu was lost for a time after he trained Tai Lung and he was defeated by Oogway, but now with Po he can be the teacher again. This time with different training methods that work for other creatures.

There are so many hidden jokes and hints in this movie. Just right at the start when Po falls down the stairs, you see the shadow of his dad which is the silhouette of a panda, but just because of all the stuff he's carrying. I'm sure the brainstorming sessions they had must have been really fun :)

This cartoon was destined to become a masterpiece! (It's so unfair that every time they are deprived of an Oscar,The trilogy is on a par for me with How to train a dragon,Madagascar, and Shrek, despite the fact that there is a trilogy, well, okay) Dreamworks Studio, famous voice actors, Hans Zimmer.I remember how fiercely he was promoted thanks to McDonald's and Kinders ... p.s. I think Tai Lung's revenge is justified because imagine that you train all your life, but suddenly at the end they tell you that you are not worthy of becoming the chosen one, yes, I understand that the scroll was a test and meant that the main thing is not what you crave to get, but most importantly to keep a pure heart.

This film came out in 2008 (the second in mid 2011). Mists of Pandaria wasn't out till Oct 2011. But yes, the Warcraft devs definitely took inspiration from the franchise for Pandaria!

What I love about Oogway is that of course he’s basically a wisdom dispenser like no other, but even this movie realizes that he can’t hit the nail on the head every single time, some of his little nuggets of wisdom are gonna miss the mark. ”I don’t know!” ”There are no accidents” *Po’s ass breaks the thing he’s being carried on* ””There is only news, there is no good or bad.” *5 seconds later* ”That is bad news.”

Still hits me hard after the training montage when Po says he isnt hungry. During the rest of the film theyre constantly saying he eats when hes upset, so this moment is clearly meant to signify that hes finally not upset, and finally doesnt hate himself. Sort of a big deal to me.

Tai lung is a breed of snow leopard, an endangered species, which is considered timid and calm in relation to people, which in a sense the cartoon contradicts the nature of this animal because here it attacks all the inhabitants of the valley and, in principle, the character himself is aggressive and ferocious.

He is that way because he was made that way. We are all products of our enviornment and Shifu made Tai-lung extremely competitive, forced him to work extremely hard with the promise of being something special, and in the end all of that effort was robbed from him. He was taught the right things for the wrong reasons and that will mess with anyone's head.

I just had a realization about this movie after seeing it like 20 times. Master Oogway is arguably the greatest Kung Fu master in the entire trilogy, but he’s a tortoise. Even if he wasn’t old he would still be held back by everyone else’s speed, just like Po would be held back for being fat as a panda. It feels like an Oogway origin movie would have the same arc as Po.

There is an important difference between Po's reaction to the scroll and Tai Lung's. Po said, "Its blank," while Tai Lung says, "Its nothing." Po is an empty vessel who can be shaped and filled with wisdom, while Tai Lung is arrogant and disrespectful, and sees himself as lesser without the supposed power that the scroll was supposed to give him.
