In case you're wondering why Sandman and Lizard are never seen in their human forms or have as much screen time as the other villains, it's because Thomas Hayden Church and Rhys Ifans couldn't make it to set due to scheduling conflicts. For their curing scenes, they used recycled footage from SM3 and TASM1. They still provided the voices.

I absolutely love how they managed to give peter the experiences that make him Spiderman in such a fresh, new way. It's his origin story reimagined. When Peter said "its just me and you" right when May died, it was actually a refference to when May confronted Peter about him sneaking out all the time in Homecoming. She also said "its just me and you" in that scene. Also when Peter named all the villains he wanted to cure he pushed Goblin to the side because he was still angry.

I love how Otto says "How can I help?" once the inhibitor chip has worked. He's instantly down to assist in any way he can. It truly reminds you that he was a genuinely good man before the tentacles took over. We'll probably be getting the MCU's Eddie Brock variant playing Venom at some point down the road. They could have Tom Hardy play him or recast him with a different actor. But it is a clever way of introducing the symbiote into the MCU without redoing its origin story.

In regards to the spell at the end, I personally think it’s fairly simple to understand and people just overcomplicate it sometimes. All it does is simply make people forget who Peter is, they have no memory of him. It’s not something that involves time travel, or changes past events or anything. From MJ’s necklace and bandaid, to J Jonah acknowledging the world knows who SPIDERMAN is, just not the identity. And they acknowledge the events at the Statue of Liberty as well. So it does show these events still happen and people remember THOSE PARTS, they simply don’t know who Peter is anymore and thus, don’t know Spider-Man’s identity. So Happy saying he knew May through Spiderman still works, because those events still happen, he just doesn’t know who IS Spiderman now. It’s basically like the world got hit with a Mandela effect. Where they remember things, but part of their memory with certain pieces of information (Peter) is missing
@cryb0rg
@cryb0rg 2 жыл бұрын
That doesn't explain what happened to all the physical evidence of Peter being Spider-Man. All the news broadcasts that mentioned him by name, newspapers, hell the whole book that Flash wrote, where did that go? Did the spell zap all that from existence? Also, if Happy remembers working with Spider-Man, does Ned? Does Ned think he's Spider-Man's guy in the chair, and he just doesn't know Peter? Does MJ think she's just Spider-Man's girlfriend? How would all that work? lol it doesn't seem to make very much sense when you think about the implications.

I love this movie especially because it showed how Tobey and Andrew looked after Tom like a little brother. They didn't let him make the mistakes they made. Tobey made him realize that revenge wasn't the most important thing. Since he knew that revenge had in no way relieved him, he was burdened with an even greater burden. Andrew did not let Tom lose his beloved girl because he knew how it hurt. This is wonderful ❤️

We were screaming, howling, whistling and clapping all through the movie. So much so that I missed a lot of the dialogues after key moments, so I had to watch it in the theatre two more times. Not that I'm complaining, people were still cheering on 3 weeks later in there 😍❤️ The movie for sure has several plot holes and there's a lot of stuff that's not sitting right with me now that I've had the chance to actually ponder upon it. But I'd still say, it was the greatest movie for every Marvel fan and for every Spider-Man fan worldwide, people who've grown up with these characters.. Watching them altogether in a single movie, that is just stuff we've dreamt of. Hats off to Marvel & Sony for pulling this off! 🙌🏼😍

I couldn't really get past the plot issues, and it kind of spoilt the movie for me. I think 'Into the Spider-verse' did the same story better, without the issues this had. They needed to have at least *one* other spider-man who was 'new'; and handle the villains better. The flipping between good/bad happened too swiftly, too often, and as for the final third... it was very poor. Too much was aimed at evoking quick hit cheers by pandering to fans, rather than focusing on a coherent story that needed to be told. This has set up issues for future movies, which I think will never be addressed.

21:45 That's because Peter pulls his punches, he could kill Doc Ock if he wanted with one punch. I'm surprised of how many people doesn't know that Spider-Man pulls his punches and that he doesn't kill. As a hardcore fan of the character I love Tobey, Andrew and Tom, but Tom Holland is so good as both Peter and Spider-man. I mean, even Stan Lee himself said it that Tom Holland is the best Spider-Man. Tom Holland kill it with his performance in this movie and I can’t wait to continue his Spider-man amazing character development. Tom Holland Spider-man has lost so much in so little time, it’s crazy. Tobey got bit at the age of 17. For 17 years, he lived a normal, happy childhood with both Aunt May and Uncle Ben, with no powers or supervillains to deal with. By the age of 18, Uncle Ben has died, but he got to properly graduate from high school with his childhood best friend and move into the city with him. Andrew got bit at the age of 17. He lost both of his parents at a young age and still carries that pain and yearning with him, but for 17 years, he lived a rather normal childhood with both Aunt May and Uncle Ben, with no powers or supervillains to deal with. By the age of 18, Uncle Ben has died, he becomes Spider-Man, graduates properly with his peers and his high school sweetheart, and lives in his childhood home with Aunt May. Tom got bit at the age of 14. After living up until freshman year with a relatively normal childhood, he is thrust into the superpowered world, and fights alongside the Avengers after only six months of being a superhero. While in high school, he loses out on hanging out with his friends, attending activities he enjoys, and teenage memories he will never recover, all in the name of heroic responsibility. Eight months into his powers at the age of 15, he defeats his first supervillain, is almost murdered, and loses out on ever going to his high school homecoming dance. At the age of 16, he witnesses an alien invasion (for the second time in his life) and goes into a one-way trip into outer space where he dies on an alien planet. While the Blip was instantaneous for most people, for Peter, he understood that he was dying for a whole minute and died in the arms of his mentor. An hour later, he is revived, but he watches his mentor and idol die in front of him and attends his funeral. At the age of 17, he is lied to and gaslit by a second supervillain, is almost murdered again, and has his identity revealed to the public and is framed as a murderer, destroying his personal life. Later that same week, he discovers the multiverse is real, Aunt May dies, leaving him with no family, the world's memory of him is erased, leaving him no friends or support network of any kind, misses out on properly graduating high school, and lives alone in the city. Being Spider-Man is all he has left. And after all of that, only then is he the same age as Peter 2 and Peter 3. And that breaks my heart. I can’t wait to see were they take the character next, especially with that offspring of Venom. I hope Scorpion is the one that gets it.

For Tobey he got the chance to save Norman (Goblin) because Norman died in the past. For Andrew, he got a chance to save someone important to Peter, not his Peter but Tom's, MJ. And for Tom, he got another chance to save them (the villains), because the first time he tried, he failed.

Everyone screaming with excitement after Daredevil, every villain, every callback and especially the 2 Peters returning was an unbeatable experience. I missed that experience with Infinity War and Endgame but this one was incredible. One of the best movie going experiences of my life Idk if you caught it when Strange astral projected Peter you could see wavy lines by his head. This is how the comics indicate his Spidey sense!! It was so cool to see it in live action Goblin suplexing Peter through 4 floors was insane!! And to think Willem Dafoe did most of his own stunts. Legend! “Uncle Ben said it” “The day he died” I cried so hard hearing that for the first time. It was like this sad but nostalgic punch to the heart. “You’re all grown up. How are you?” That felt like it was also directed to all of us who grew up with Tobey’s Spider-Man :’) I personally rank this over Endgame and Infinity War. Yeah most of it was nostalgia and fan service but still

They basically improved upon every single iteration of spider man. Now they are all the best spider man, it's no longer a competition of who is better. And showed the villains in their best versions. Crazy Goblin. Badass electro. Mixed Sand man. Good Ock. Then they even tossed in some trippy Dr Strange action. GOD this movie is amazing.

I love the ending and this trilogy - Peter choosing for everyone to forget him is him finally taking his responsibility. The entire trilogy has been a perfect origin story. Indirectly he thought because there were adult heroes there’d be people to clean his mess even he needed their help but he chose to sacrifice “himself” and be the hero Tony saw in him - it’s perfect; I’d change nothing.

I watched this film in theater the moment it came out, everyone was clapping cheering and tearing up I can't put into words the emotions when Andrew and tobey ame thru it was so amazing and seeing Andrews Peter still hurt from his loss and getting his redemption was the best part of the film he really gave a great performance. Spidey is my fav superhero because he never dreamed of being a hero in the first place, he wants a normal life with those close to him, he makes alot of mistakes but in the end does the right thing, being a hero's doesn't mean you can have everything u want and the ending of this film really shows you that, no matter how hard it gets and Evan tho he wants to quit and walk away, he doesn't he continues helping ppl and looking out for the little guy, not because he wants to but because its the right thing to do. After this movie and aunt mays death just like tobey and andrew losing Ben, he understands the power he has now, he feels responsible for may and everything that happened because of his mistake, he doesn't want anyone else to go thru what he did and it inspirs him to help ppl Evan more because its what he does, not because he wants to but because its right, he chose his fate because it is his responsibility to keep the ones he cares about safe Evan if it means not having them around, he is a good pearson inside and out and for me is the most human superhero and most real, there are many great superheros in marvel but spiderman is the most human and raw.

The first Spider-Man with Tobey came out when I was in the 2nd grade and I’m 28 years old now, so I literally grew up watching all of the Spider-Mans. I HAD NO IDEA WHAT THIS MOVIE WAS ABOUT. I HAD NO IDEA THAT OLD CHARACTERS WERE COMING. When the green goblin showed up I was like “THE GREEN GOBLIN?!?!! What is he doing here?????” I literally teared up. That was like my first villain ever as a kid. And then more and more villains kept coming! AND THEN ANDREW GARFIELD AND TOBEY CAME OUT😳😳😳 it was the best day of my life tbh 😂. I watched the movie twice in the cinema. Definitely my new favourite MCU movie. The white figures at the end (when the multiverse was "cracking") were other people who know Spider-Man in other universes (one of them was Kraven the Hunter, we know that guy and the other figures from the comics, so they are depicted as people who know Spider-Man from other universes). Peter designed the new suit after seeing Tobey's and Andrew's Spider-Man suits (because he obviously doesn't have access to any of the high tech stuff from Tony anymore).
