Ive been active in martial arts since 1982, I trained in Taiwan and the People’s Republic of China. This instructor is very detailed and professional. I hope he will upload the whole snake form form

The way he executes the details makes the performance enchanting.

It truly is fascinating how different style interpret the snake strategy. In (my) wing chun, snake is much more compact and doesn't spin or turn away from the opponent. I also interpret snake in the sense of striking and constricting, and use the snake strategy of trapping, wrapping and squeezing as well.

Thank you, Sifu! We are learning the five animal forms now and these videos have been extremely helpful. Can you do one for dragon, though?

I'm glad to hear it, I haven't planned anything for dragon, but it is one of my favorite animal styles so maybe I'll bump it up on the priority list :D

Hello there 😊 All these movements are.. impressive!! I want to know if anyone can learn two or more styles Frex.. 🦅 🐍 🐅 🐒🐉mantis ect And which of them..pairs which who? Sorry English is not my first
@SifuKuttel4 жыл бұрын
Yes, you can learn many styles if you want. Many systems teach 5 to 10 animals. There is no perfect animal by itself, that is why they are taught after the main art/fighting style is mastered. I know that Hung Gar has a Tiger/Crane form, and in Choy Li Fut we have a Tiger/Dragon Form, but you can really pair any of them however you want.
