NAH HE IS A LOT STRONGER, only he wasn't personal with Po..so we didn't feel the villainous hate.

@@mebtadmasd2347true, but he’s just overall a lot more shallow of a villain. That’s not bad, but it’s undeniably better for a villain to be complex in themselves, and Kai just isn’t complex at all, at least in comparison. Now you could argue that he doesn’t NEED to be complex to be a good villain, but the only reason I bring it up is because the King Fu Panda movies are known (at least WERE known) for their villains being peak villain complexity and complimentarity.

No Kai is literally tai plus shen both by story and strength he is the result of those two stories together ie he wants to kill and take everything in China or the world and he was betrayed by his friend

They wondered who betrayed Kai or Oogway For so you know, Kai and Oogway aren't that good long before, as Oogway said he's ambitious, but after they met the pandas and learn chi, Oogway turned against Kai. He became good while Kai is still bad as the way he is

I have noticed a lot of people miss that Oogway used to be like Kai and just think Kai randomly turned evil. I think this an instance where the movie would have benefit if they outright said Oogway was a war lord with ambitions to conquer China and make a name for himself. I know the movie gives us the pieces to put together ourselves, but maybe having it outright stated would make this movie more fondly remembered, especially if the movie focused on Oogway’s faults more or maybe even make us question if he intentionally hid his past to be better remembered and as a result Kai got forgotten.
